I just don’t understand why we continue to stand for this. Especially all America has done to get here, we all should be eating!! There is no reason why average every day people are STARVING, can’t pay their rent, can’t fix their car etc. this conversation just boils my blood.

The reason is corporate greed run amok. As to why it is tolerated- I don’t know. Perhaps a certain amount of laziness. And not everyone is cut out for self employment. Thank you for watching!

It was great listening to this. Here are my thoughts should you care to read it. I think we can say for a fact that employee loyalty is at an all time low. At the same time profits like you mentioned are way up. more money would increase loyalty but I guess loyalty is not needed to make a profit at all. Also paying employees does not tend to make them more productive if they would do it because it would be worth the money. I think overall the value of labor has just gotten down. The wages before I was born were way higher but it was mostly hard work which also required skill. Those jobs today still make a decent chunk of money. But most of all a person just produces a lot less than we used to as a species earlier. China is still dirt cheap with their labor which means the west can't go overboard with wagespiking. Also I feel like people, not companies but just your average joe, want to spend as little on a product or service as possible. So who are we to blame companies for doing the same. Walmart is cheap and a lot of people go there. People hire immigrants who have no insurance because they are cheaper. We know Amazon heavily abuses their blue collar workers but people order there very often. In general average people aren’t better than mega corporations, they are just less equipped. People should be able to just live and not have to work themselves to the bone. I agree we are just running on the last stages of capitalism. Eventually growth will stop and we cant grow forever.

You make a lot of valid points. The pay increases may not change things for everyone (productivity-wise), but I believe it would certainly improve morale. People are still people. When the factory jobs where exported in the 80’s and 90’s, many of those employees were earning $30-$40/ hr, and complaining how they may not make their mortgage without the factory. Additionally, employees get spoiled quite easily, and for some, enough is never enough. By and large, however, that rule has slanted towards the companies. I thank you for your comment. And thank you for watching!

Started teaching vocational education just a couple of years after you were going to take your building trades class. Let's put it this way you have hit the nail on the head! Spent my career teaching welding, auto mechanics, and auto body. When I started my department had 7 other highly trained and skilled "shop teachers". All of them did what they taught as a hobby and side hustle, including myself. Today my school has one other teacher and a half time Ag teacher (Ag teachers today lack something to be desired as far as vocational education goes). Taxpayers need to know this about the money you mentioned. It goes into what is called the general fund. 35% of my salary, about $28,000, is reimbursed to the school district. The most they have let me use under the Perkins Funding is $4,000, $20,000 just magically disappears and never goes to these types of badly needed classes/students. The taxpayers need to question and get involved in their child's education or lack there of. Most public schools have all but eliminated these types of classes and as you stated our country is in bad need of these types of classes. They develop basic skills, keep students coming in the door, and too many other good things to list here in these classes. Public education today is doing a lot of things wrong and concentrates on preparing students for a university type education. These skills are not needed in most jobs and don't forget about the cost of this education which is stupid crazy for what one learns. In short, there has to be a balance and public education is falling way short on this currently. I have watched it happen for 30 years now so my theory is not without some experience and knowledge. Great video!

TS certainly is an intriguing individual. People toss many extremely specific/descriptive words randomly, but applying "genius" to TS is (rare) proper use of the word. However, it seems that such individuals can often have ego to match their rare/extreme talent(s)/abilities. From what I've heard/viewed about Billy Corgan, and Roger Waters, they are similar w/TS in that regard. Good point about creating great, unique rock songs being a young person's racket. I can't come up w/even one example in all of rock music where gifted, tremendously successful rock star(s) could compose the same magic at 40, or 50 + years old as they could in their 20s. Sadly, I don't think anyone like TS will ever happen again. The ruling clan executing NWO (JWO, 1-World Rule, Tikkun Olam) as part of their domination has poisoned, brainwashed, deceived us to the point where people are walking zombies, hollow shells, w/almost no potential. "There will be in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak.....Producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people, will in fact, have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel, by propaganda, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods....And this seems to be the final revolution." - Aldous Huxley, March 1962 (AH purportedly was a member of a prominent family of eugenicists, a high level political advisor, and purportedly wrote Brave New World, a "fictional" story of totalitarian ruled society).

Modern women are just as mature as children at times. They don't often look at the consequences of their delusional & convoluted mindset. There's nothing wrong kicking it with a chick and having a good time. The problem that, is a lot of people don't even take STD's seriously, especially when people have STD's with no symptoms. Like know the risk at least. Men also cause issues in society. Easy times makes people weak, hard times makes people strong. Weak people make times hard, strong people make times easy. For all I know it's a cycle that most likely will happen unfortunately. I genuinely enjoyed this video & couldn't agree more!

  • @thetroublewiththat

I think maybe it was always similar, insofar as maturity and dating (courting) went. I watched a short video on the numerous suitors a girl had, simultaneously, at age 16 in 1952. Now, with social media, women have exposed their own games. The difficulty I have is the celebration of mediocrity for modern women. Without affirmative action and governments taking the place of men (I.e. alimony and diversity hires), things may very well be similar to pre-1965. As economic conditions decline, I can easily see the mask of “traditional female roles” being reapplied once more. I’m not sure how they intended to undo the damage? Likely they haven’t thought that far ahead. Thank you for watching and your comment!

The first sentence in the description literally says it’s “the abridged version of the story of Tom Scholz, and the rock band Boston”. 6 musicians? Scholz, Delp, Goudreau, Hashian, Shehan, Masdea. Most played on one song, “Let Me Take You Home Tonight”. Goudreau did some solos on “Hitch A Ride” and “Long Time”. If four have never been named, how do you know there were four? And wouldn’t that make 10 total? Will you fill in the blanks? I’m curious to know. The official story includes crediting all six who played on the first album. Scholz indeed did not play all the parts, but aside from the drumming, Scholz played the overwhelming majority of the other parts. Sib Hashian played drums on all but one song. Jim Masdea played drums on one song (even though he played on all of the 6 demo songs that led to getting the first contract). Barry Goudreau played guitar parts on three songs and Fran Sheehan played bass guitar parts on two songs. Everyone was credited by name.

@@thetroublewiththat In the legal documents involved in the lawsuits between Tom and Barry, Tom admitted under oath that Barry plays on the following songs: Foreplay, Long Time and Let Me Take You Home. In the post litigation 2006 Scholz remaster (not Sony) of the debut Boston record, Tom finally spells it out. Barry plays electric rhythm guitar on Foreplay, Long Time and Let Me Take You Home. Barry also plays all of the lead solos on Long Time and he plays lead and slide on Let Me Take You Home. Tom has also finally admitted that Fran plays bass on Foreplay and Let Me Take You Home. It has been known from the day the record was released that Sib plays all drum tracks except one and that track was played by Jim Masdea. Tom has also finally admitted that Brad plays acoustic 12 string on Let Me Take You Home Tonight which was written by Brad. There are in fact 6 different musicians who play instrument tracks on the debut Boston record. Albeit 30 years after the fact, Tom finally admitted and gave credit to Jim Masdea and Brad for all of the arrangement work that they did on the songs on the debut Boston record in the liner notes of the 2006 Scholz remaster. Keep in mind that the 2006 Scholz remaster (not Sony) was Toms pet project. When you’re married, you’re married for life if you cheat on your partner, whether it’s you or your wife he or she can press charges against you and the person you cheat with will get two years and six days in jail. @@thetroublewiththat this is the side of the story when it comes to the Philippines, that you might not hear on social media the foreign men that come to the Philippines to look potential partners, especially the ones that they meet on Dating sites Most of them talk to 10 different women after they get to know them, they travel to the Philippines and they would spend a day or two with each girl nine times out of 10 went a foreign man go to the Philippines. That girl is going to have sex with him because they are hoping the man will not see anybody else and focus on them most of the men if not all they will go around and sleep with all the women, they have been talking to online and then they backtrack and try to find the girl who they feel. They want to be with these women are not stupid. They know what a lot of these men are doing and almost for certain the relationship will start out on a bad note they may not say anything because they’re looking for partners and they’re all competing with each other, my wife and kids we went to a really nice hotel because we like their breakfast I was outside and I noticed this one Florida man he keeps going from one hotel to the next that was across from each other. I finally said to him hey man what’s going on you keep going from one place to the next he has his fiancé in one hotel and his new girlfriend in the other, talk about a man that has no respect for women the key thing to any Filipina is security from her partner, some of these men which are usually older men if you notice that’s who you will see on social media with these big problems when it comes to money and the women there they think their gods when they come there, they will throw money around and act like they’re big shots instead of properly, vetted the woman and stop acting like they’re trying to buy her. A woman is a woman no matter where you go. They’re all the same. The only difference is upbringing discipline and the need to please their partners and cooperation, femininity beauty and fitness that separates them from western women and then you have the other bunch of idiots that will send money before they even meet the girl. Some of them will go as far as sending money to build a house.😂😂😂 and then, when they get there, they realized they were scammed I tell any man that’s looking for a good partner in the Philippines make sure the girl has a job or she’s in college make sure she’s at least 25 years old and is responsible take the time to know her take the time to know the family and know what you’re up against don’t act like a big shot and you are rich these women will take advantage of you they are women stick to one partner get to know her if there’s things that is unexplainable, it’s very inexpensive to get a private investigator in the Philippines to do a background check and even surveillance on the woman you are about to invest in if she says she has no children because they will sometimes lie about that take your time ask the right questions be vigilant Filipino woman will not have respect for you just because you have money to them. They find it insulting when you throw money in their faces don’t feel sorry for them when bad things happen because a lot of time is their fault why they find themselves into those really bad situation with women there, women or women no matter where you go get to know the culture and even try to speak and understand even a little bit of the language foreign man must understand Filipino women from their very young they are taught by their mother, never to love a man 100% you have to let her understand that she can give her heart to you and you are the kind of man that will be there with her forever

I’m aware. The video was rather broad in presentation. More of an observation of this current fad/fantasy that by going to a lesser economic country to scoop up a wife easy as can be, may not be such a simple feat.

That’s one discussion every man needs to have with his Filipino wife before he gets married. If they decide to help the family how much help are they going to give right from the beginning?

Let me explain something to you about the Philippines, so you understand once a woman gets married to a man in the Philippines she has no financial obligation to her family or obligation, becomes to her own family that she started

At face value, I would agree with your statements. I’m sure it is similar to America in that way. On the other hand, I have been married. When you marry, her family becomes your extended family. I have heard horror stories from men that were not prepared for such an outcome. They would likely have the same difficulties in America.
