Holey cow Mark, settle down a touch buddy, you’re going to give yourself a stroke or somp’n. Roof off man!!!
Had to subscribe again for some reason. Not sure if you have had many others that were in the same situation.
How about both?
I'd go for the field fresh car, it sound like it fit what you'd want to do more with chopping the roof off ,since it's already damaged and rusty no loss there. The wrecked movie car would be a hell of a head Turner sitting out beside the trans am and the kenworth at the car show.

I think you need both of them!! Have the interior done on the good one, chop the top off and dye the interior and paint the wreck! It would be a lot of work but really cool!! You really need the nice one, it's almost there!!
I'd just put a yellow canvas cover over the lights and a magnet cover over the door badges and call it a day.
Twin Sticks, you're entering dangerous territory. Next thing, you'll want a restored Sally Field to go with your collection. 🤠
Love yewww twin sticks😎
I will just say both... Why not
Buy both. One for driving. One for show
I'd say get the finished car because you already have the car you need to do any work for it and it'll give you more time to finish on the trans Am but and you only live once so I say by the one that's already made
I would wager to get the junker first. Save it from rusting and degrading even further. The more complete one can be gotten another time, especially since you've made that connection with the owner.
Buy the nearly complete one and finish it.😊
u should get the is in batter shape
Mark: Would you consider coming down to $X.00? Le Mans owner: No low balls! I know what I've got!

The complete car is awesome but if the wreck was off road use only it’d be great for shows, all it’s gotta do is stop and go 😂
why not finish one project first before you start another, also you should sale little by little when its finished and buy a GMC general, and sheriffs justice car from bandit 2,then you could replicate the car in its bent condition when it got blown up!😀
The complete car is the way to go. It has a few projects to work on that will let you put your personal touches on it.
I think the field car
You need both of them.
Out here in California the law is different it's legal to drive around with non-emergency light bar on the roof however it is illegal the drive around with the lights flashing
I think you were right the first time, it's the 77 grille you want, 76 is ones you've been seeing. Without knowing what the guy wants for the finished one don't forget to add in the time to find one and deal with the paint and body work and finding that proper light bar too. The junker is probably the best route to take even if you just buy it for future parts!
I know it's second tier but I've always wanted you to go the Reginald Van Justice route.
The complete one. The other sitting in the bush might have a rotten floor and frame.
A 'Needle Nose' Kenworth W900, a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, Pontiac Le Mans, and Cadillac Eldorado would be my dream Smokey and the Bandit collection. If resources allow, I'd go for both the field Le Mans, and the running example. Then you can have both an intact, and a 'convertible' car for shows. They'd look terrific together.
The one in the field mark
The Beaufort car the one is complete and running.
I'd agree with most comments on buying the fully running Lemans. The junker looks nice but the frame has been sitting in dirt for 10 years and it probably looks like swiss cheese. When I built your model of the truck and car, I aslo looked for the Lemans. There is no model of it but i did find a resin body. Still a lot more to source. Go with the runner Mark! Cheers, 🍻 Corey, "Earl" Widmeyer
You van dye the inside any color you want.its called marhide
Get both
Buy both and do both for the beginning of the movie and the ending of the movie
All of the new world the new war looks fantastic.I like the new one
Get them both, the nice one is expensive but the gray one is probably not much more than scrap price so it evens out right?? That’s my logic flawed as it may be lmao!!
Dean's greasy flips has to have a few of them.
Seeing that car brings back so many memories from riding around in one as a kid!
Front or back? 😋
Get the finished car. What extra you spend is well worth not having another full project on your hands
Buy the first one, less work to do. The other one, by the time you get it done might cost you more to fix and the first
Yea the more complete car is more pricey, but by the time you fix up the other car to get to movie correct status I honestly feel that you would spend more money on it. Just my 2 cents Go with the better car
Mark, if it is very cheap, buy the one in the junkyard.. cut the top/dye the inside/paint outside brown and put on some tires and get it to run and drive..
Buy both
You could paint the plastic interior parts
Get both!!!
Get both and have one that’s perfect and the other one the convertible. Love all the videos Mark. Keep up the good work
Shuttle car for sure sem makes blue dye
I would but both then you can have it be that is not chopped at the beginning of the movie then the other one as a chopped one after the scene where the car got its roof chopped off then you have a before and after cars
Absolutely grand! Whichever you choose, it'll be completely fabulous,Mark!
😂😂😂 who said you can’t have a rebel flag anymore?
People who weren’t even around for the first 30 years the movie was playing. Just like the Dukes Of Hazzard. No one was offended from 1980 until circa 2010…
Twin sticks with the coors banquet even! Love it man!
