My name is Randy Wheeze, known online as WIESNERX0042 and I post full length gameplay videos.
I do a mix of raw footage, and recently have been doing videos with commentary.
My goal is to preserve a record of what the game once was for future generations so they might be able to see it. Hopefully in the year 2500 my 20 hour long videos will be on loop in a museum somewhere.
I have a day job, and i'm not a professional streamer. I don't play the "hottest new games" but rather focus on the niche titles and classics that are close to my heart. In rare instances when I cannot find a copy of the game I will turn to emulation but for the most part I prefer to play the original disc/cartridge on the original system and capture with Elgato software.
I will try my best to record as many stats about the video as I can, because I know you: the viewer likes that. I am a stickler for perfection. I want every upload I produce to be cinema quality.

I really do like ROT3K 10 and 7 (started with the original on NES). I made characters for my family too. I admit nowadays I auto resolve almost all battles and duels. They just take too long. It's best to take the fame hit and ignore the Traveler's request to fix roads and the starving peasant's request for food. They waste resouces and more importantly time.

Im pretty sure I shot a 49 once. I was ridiculous at this game. Played A LOT.
I wish KOEI's will translate this to English version or the X on the Steam since my PS2 isn't working anymore. I personally like rpg style of RotK VIII & X was best, the XIV good but lack of depth unlike the two I'm mentioned.
You're in luck, Koei remade the game. Look for Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake.

Your the most recent so ima just say this here but seriously this just randomly popped into my head and its so crazy how as a kid i had no clue what was going on and somehow figured it out and got so far. I spent so much time building and getting to know the people that move into my strange towns. I remember moving things around because people didnt like certain things around them or they needed something near their house and you really had to run the town to please everyone. I always felt sad leaving one town to progress to the next but man, seeing this game again and hearing all the sounds almost makes me wanna cry. Its old crappy games like these we pushed thru and found true value and enjoyment from. Now this will forever have a place in a small group of peoples lives who still have love for this game.

I love this game , 9 was not as good as this one but 10 was good, sadly i can not afford to buy refurbished PS 2 consoles every 30 days and emulators are not easy to install like a game.
I can't tell you how many times i've had to open by my PS2 to swab the laser with cleaning alcohol to keep it alive, I hope you can find a working console for cheap to experience these games..goodluck
@@WIESNERX0042 sorry just checked i wish to say i am half blind have been gaming for many years 1960''s tube type computer era, i do apologize as i was writing with two other fellow gamers about the console emulators for sale on Amazon and somehow some of what i wrote to them got in this comment if you notice it is incoherent, i do apologize i do hope to see more videos like this i clicked like and subscribe this was a favorite i liked 8 mor than 9 and 10 more than 9, and have experienced the very things you mentioned.
Kind of funny how Cao Cao ends up steamrolling nearly every RTK scenario he's in if you don't interfere. Not incorrect, though - he was poised to actually take over all of China for a while, historically.
Sad to see the Wiesner clan fall under Cao Cao's thumb. Could be worse though...

I had this game. My all time favorite game. But, the disc got scratched and i could only play until scenario 3 and then it crashed. Thanks for filming so i can finally finish the game vicariously.

Found this video cuz I was remembering this game recently. Omg the nostalgia. Lol. I hope you get passed where I got stuck. I don't remember the scenario but it was with the cat burglar and I could never find them. Knew I'd wanna watch this whole thing when at 8:00 you pulled a bong rip, as I'm doing the same. Lol.
I finally remember this game, I’ve had numerous fever dreams of this shit game. spend an ungodly amount of time making roads to nowhere and walk for hours into the sea while dragging the chalk. Literally played so much I vomited couple of times of sheer rage and confusion of not understanding anything about the game. Could not build a single buildings for the longest and constantly playing the beginning of the game since I didn’t have a memory card back then. Ultimately got chucked out the car window on the highway. Good riddance.

I know I spelt this wrong but What the F is a dalmonte... also the way you place the building hurts my soul, how difficult is it to place small buildings next to each other etc your layout gets so messy...
