Im here in a remote province in BC, $16.75 is around $15/hr after deductions. If employers give you 20hrs/week, it's around $300/week x 4 weeks, around $1,200 per month Rent & utilities - 500 Phone net - 30 Bus - 35 Insurance - 75 Grocery - 300 950 more or less ng expense per month $1200 - $950 = $250. Tiyaga talaga kailangan, good thing the 20hrs per week was lifted but only til April so let's see
Thank you po for sharing your experience! Yes, tsaga and diskette talaga!

SARAP HATAWIN NG TUBO SA ULO
Hi Kath! Do you suggest po it is better to get a 2 year program na isang course lang para hnd na mag 1+1 at hindi na mag re apply ulit for visa extension? Or is it okay to include sa application na you will study 1 year office administration plus 1 year business ad? Thank you!
Hello! If you have enough fund, I would suggest get a 2 year na program. The proof of fund kasi needs to be equivalent ng 2yr tuition fee and living expenses. If you're going to mention that you are taking 2 1 yr program, that means you should already be enrolled or at least have letter of acceptance to both programs. This being said, you have to show in your proof of fund that you have enough money for 2 programs and 2 year living expenses. I hope this makes sense.
i saw you once in a crashed course sa weathwering process.. ikaw po ba yun? thanks..
Hi! Siguro? Ahhha not sure. Saan to!
😍😍😍😍😍
How do we fill in the PGWP form if we did 1+1 program? Are you suggesting that IRCC is already aware of my enrolment in both programs, even if I haven't mentioned the first program separately? The form only has one box space to write your program. What should you put in studies? Only one of them? the most recent one? Would it be more advisable to send a single PDF file containing transcripts for both programs? Combining both completion letters as one PDF? Include study permits in the passport PDF? @KathDee
1st - IRCC is aware but those program you finished should be indicated in the pgwp form 2nd As far as I can remember there are more than 1 space to input your education. 3rd you will have to show the proof that you studied and completed the program when asked in the idcc application that you're going to create. I do believe that you can only upload 1 document in the system, so yes, a single file for all the document is advisable. Check this out: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5580-applying-work-permit-student-guide.html
I appreciate that bit of honesty about how difficult it really is! Thank you!
You’re welcome! I tried to be as honest as I can be even though it might sound scary sometimes 😅 This is the reality. Only the people with desire and courage succeed! (Which is all of us, we just need to improve our mindset!!)
Shoutout my friend!❤
💖💖💖🌸
Hello po, what if wala po BIR/Income tax ang business ng ate ko. Pero meron po DTI and business permit. Would that be possible po? Please noticed me
I am honestly not sure. All I know is that you have to prove that the business is real.
❤❤❤
Kumusta kana ngayon ❤❤❤😢
Okay okay na po!
Very nice, kumusta na kayo ni ate mo❤️❤️❤️
Ayos naman po! 💖💖
Hi Kath, my first program ends in Dec 2023. Can I take a study gap and do my next program in May 2024
International students only have 150 days of study gap. www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/study-permits/assessing-conditions.html#:~:text=Students%20may%20be%20required%20or,be%20authorized%20by%20their%20DLI.
ano po work nyo jan ?
Jr. wedding and event designer po at that time
Of course because flips are stupid when you go to a country like Canada. Culture shock now? Think about it when it was early 80’s to 90’s. Mortgage rate was 18.9 percent. Racism was more prevalent, while there were limited support system for new immigrants. That’s our experience coming from the Pilipines lol
What a crab. You sound more like an American using that deregotary word to describe yourself. How does it feel when Canada applauded a Nazi at the parliament recently? Do you feel so proud of your new country?
HAHAHA😂❤ Cute nyo ni Madam. Taga kanta ka sya taga pump 😆
Hahahhaha
Great job reading the form and not giving any insight!
Ha ha ha! I remember din unang commute ko ha ha ha pull the string dito
Since end of June, IRCC has been conducting category-based Express Entry draws based on occupation and French language proficiency. Here are the 4 draws so far: 1) Jun 28 - 500 people from health occupations - min CRS score 476 2) Jul 5 - 500 people from STEM occupations - min CRS score 486 3) Jul 6 - 1,500 people from health occupations - min CRS score 463 4) Jul 7 - 2,300 people from French languange proficiency - min CRS score 439
Hi just want to ask what card are you using for the monthly pass? I was paying 128 a month, this Is already for student discount. Thank you
Hello! It depends which college or area are you! I paid my conestoga ID
Hi po i got 1 year program po this coming September 2023 intake po din matapos yong program April 2024 din im planning to enroll another prpgram po kung mag start po nang September 2024 po tanong ko lang po from april 2024 to September 2024 po can work ba full time po Thankyou 😊
H yes, you can work full time during school breaks
May nabasa kasi ako sa Facebook bawal daw mag work kasi hindi daw summer break yan pag tapos mo na first program .Thankyou po
IRCC just conducted its first ever category-based Express Entry draw today (June 28th) and invited 500 people from health occupations. Min CRS score was 476. In the previous all purpose Express Entry draw, min CRS score was 486. Next category-based draw will be on Jul 5th for STEM occupations.
IRCC will conduct category-based Express Entry draws based on occupation and French language proficiency. It announced 82 prioritized occupations in 2023 with the following distribution: 1) French Language Proficiency (TEF Canada 7 to pass) 2) Health (35 occupations) 3) STEM (24 occupations) 4) Trade (10 occupations) 5) Transport (10 occupations) 6) Agriculture & Agri-food (3 occupations) If you work in one of 82 prioritized occupations, you have easy PR. High CRS score becomes less important. You need 6 months of Canadian (or aboard) experience to qualify instead of 1 year. If you are not in one of the prioritized occupations, you will need high CRS score or PNP for ITA (inviation to apply). It is expected that minimum CRS scores will increase as seats are diverted to prioritized occupations. There is no guarantee that the occupations list will remain the same when you are ready to apply Express Entry in 2025/2026. In this regard, Canada is becoming Australia.
Quebec's education system is different from the rest of Canada. High school graduation is in grade 11, followed by 2 years of public college (CEGEP), then 3-4 years of university. Starting in Fall 2024, graduates of English CEGEP need 5 French Second Language (FSL) classes to graduate.

Very informative video Ms.Kath. Ask ko lng po since I'm taking 1yr program sa ngyn, which will end by Dec 2023. If ever I'll go for 1yr Pgwp only and after 6months work experience apply for Alberta Opportunity Stream PR Pathway, possible po ba? And just in case my time is not enough for my PR Application pwede po ba ako mag apply for the new ETA, included ba ung expired Student visa holder sa pwede for ETA? Para lng di ako mag out ng Canada while waiting for my PR approval. Hope you can give me some ideas on this po. Original plan ko po kc same like you mag 1+1 program, but right now medyo out of budget na ako for another program.
