A bit of trivia here from a Kiwi = Director of LOTR rented out the NZA our army and what a grand time they had! Real beasts they already were and there were so many broken bones and blood Peter Jackson had to have a talk with their Commanders "ya know they need to tone it down a bit. We are not really trying to kill each other just make it look like we are". The New Zealand Army boys boys did not know how to tone it down God bless our men of the NZA!

The way Azog commanded his army showed tremendous skill as a leader and great discipline from his soldiers. Simple flag changes and they knew exactly what to do, especially when he commanded the trolls to takeout the dwarves war machines. Precision and efficiency in taking out not only the chariots but also the dwarves driving them.
