GANDALF the Grey to White* Lord of the Rings

After Gandalf the Grey defeats the Balrog, he too dies from the long fierce battle. Eru grants Gandalf greater wisdom/power as Gandalf the White and sends him back to Middle-earth to replace Saruman the White; who betrayed the gods as leader of the wizards to protect Middle-earth from evil.

Aragorn, the great leader.. humble but great..
I don’t know if I’d call it a reincarnation. It’s more like a resurrection with a transfiguration.

@@BOSS.Productions reincarnation is more your essence is transferred into another body and mind. Gandalf has the same mind body and soul as he died, however his body seems more powerful and enlightened, more like his true Maia self. Which is more akin to a resurrection with the body being transfigured. And it makes more sense as Tolkien was a catholic and his faith which heavy influenced his writings doesn’t believe reincarnation and instead believes in a resurrection and transfiguration/transformation of the body into a more glorified state.
