Greetings and welcome to Middle-earth! Within the confines of this channel, we embark on a wondrous journey, one that will carry us deep into the spellbinding universe crafted by the literary genius, J.R.R. Tolkien. Here, our purpose is to immerse ourselves in the profound depths of Tolkien's creation, peeling back the layers of its rich history, intricate lore, and the captivating characters that dwell within its pages.
My ultimate aspiration is to bring the extraordinary stories of Tolkien to life, not merely as passive observers, but as active participants in an immersive, documentary-style experience. As companions on this odyssey we shall weave together the Tales of the Rings.

Borrowed from the Bible just a little.
Love hearing Phil Dragash narrating Tolkien content again. His LOTR audibooks are one of my favorite pieces of Tolkien media ever made.
The fellowship theme during the Dagor Aglareb was just amazing. Please use it more in your upcoming videos.
Recently discovered this channel. Great, great videos.
After when the dark Lord sauron has been defeated, the spirit of sauron came out of his body.
Any Diablo players out there?… nerding out, respectfully, I think Melkor would be a sorcerer… dead ass(I’m speaking like that sarcastically… I’m 34 and I was born in Duval… so, I see where you might think otherwise).
This is utterly Tolkien.
I subscribed literally 10 seconds after you started talking. Sometimes you just know something is going to be good.
Please tell me you're ok, and are still planning on making more videos, because you channel is a treasure to the Tolkien community.
The Ainulindalë is without a doubt the most beautiful creation myth I have ever encountered. This goes way beyond "Fantasy".
So true. Also the only mythology written by only one person.
@@maximemailloux9680 It and other parts of the Silmarillion (or the legendarium in general) bring me to tears sometimes - because of their sheer beauty and tragedy. Nienor and Túrin come to mind ... the whole body of work is just an absolute masterpiece that transcends genre or any other literary category.
@@MorgenthauMusic same my friend!!!
Hands down best LOTR content on youtube - please make more!
Amazing content👏🔥
Do a video on the City of Gondolin next...Turgon's hidden city...mentioned in the Hobbit... The book: The Fall of Gondolin (2018) will give you the visuals and lore needed...
How do you injure or kill a ainur?
I'm pretty sure I was Orome 😊
This guy has done what Amazon would have failed to do! Hard though it is dude you did well
Amazon your to big too powerful to do right to Tolkien’s work. Let the people who know his work better to do it justice. I admit the early ages to the 1st are the hardest to do. Dude you have done well Tolkien will stop rolling in his grave because of Amazon fucking his story up
Holy Cow! Your videos are the most stunning visualisations of the Silmarillion I’ve ever seen…You prove that all that it takes is the love and devotion to this world to do it justice, not just hundred of millions of dollars…keep up this fantastic work mate!!
Is this video cancelled or will it still come when you return to your channel? Same question about the Gondolin on aswell:)
I love how many Dark Souls clips you put in this video. Makes me feel more at home, being myself barely aware of the depth of Lotr's lore
Not exactly Attenborough 🙄
Hey is there anywhere I can find the original Mandos voice line? This new one just isn't the same.
Nope, deleted for good reason 🤣
Love this content and channel, so much better than rings of power ever could be. 600 years worth of construction, with the new rings of power trailer it was just a snap of fingers.❤ great lore storytelling
Excelent
Alright...you did not have to go so hard with this. Wow. This was more than I bargained for.
So many good stories that can be used but we get Rings of Power
This is fantastic. Thank you for making it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Mandos’s original voice was far better honestly.
Absolutely beautiful! PLEASE PLEASE make one about Aule and his creation of the dwarves. I've always loved that chapter. I don't understand how AMAZON with a virtually unlimited budget can't make a series half as good. The simple truth has remained unchanged--if you want to make something good just stick to the sources. Major props for your videos!!!
Great suggestion!
Bkoknjtd.
Bjhuydrew.
Hills horn.
Sssssssssoooong.
Great video. congrats.
Thank you!
we can't make difference between willows production and tales of the rings... its very professional and strict to illustre that J.R.R TOLKIEN writing world creation... thanks.
Tales
Wow………. This is superb!
where did you get the animations? by eru, answer!
Oh you forgot to mention that Maedhros objects to burning the ships. "But when they were landed, Maedhros the eldest of his sons, and on a time the friend of Fingon ere Morgoth’s lies came between, spoke to Feanor, saying: “Now what ships and rowers will you spare to return, and whom shall they bear hither first? Fingon the valiant?" Then Feanor laughed as one fey, and he cried: "None and none! What I have left behind I count now no loss; needless baggage on the road it has proved. Let those that cursed my name, curse me still, and whine their way back to the cages of the Valar! Let the ships burn!” Then Maedhros alone stood aside, but Feanor caused fire to be set to the white ships of the Teleri" And the fact that Fingon didnt know this until after he rescued Maedhros is another indication of their deep friendship
Death of Feanor is so badass. He gets mortally wounded several times but still fights and laughs (I think he was kinda mad at this point) I gives me chills I cannot wait to hear about Fingolfin's duel with... you know who lol
Text of Oath of Feanor; "Be he foe or friend, be he foul or clean, brood of Morgoth or bright Vala, Elda or Maia or Aftercomer, Man yet unborn upon Middle-earth, neither law, nor love, nor league of swords, dread nor danger, not Doom itself, shall defend him from Fëanor, and Fëanor's kin, whoso hideth or hoardeth, or in hand taketh, finding keepeth or afar casteth a Silmaril. This swear we all: death we will deal him ere Day's ending, woe unto world's end! Our word hear thou, Eru Allfather! To the everlasting Darkness doom us if our deed faileth. On the holy mountain hear in witness and our vow remember, Manwë and Varda!" The Quenya version is more powerful.
Great work. Many of hardcore fans know this, but there is a section in History of ME regarding the war for the sake of the elves and it says that the attack on Utumnu was a planned diversion by the Valar to extract the Eldar. They weren't expecting to win. But Melkor had already gone somewhat down the path of becoming Morgoth (dispersing his power and being into the world) Manwe is shocked to see Melkor so reduced and sensing that his being is less than he was; and Melkor was shocked also from his own point of view, he couldnt daunt his brother with his gaze anymore and Tulkas was able to wrestle him to the ground and bind him. That is one of the reasons that the elves were somewhat afraid of the Valar. They saw the war and its destruction from afar
Why did you stop making videos?
Never! My account was hacked and restored a few weeks ago. I'm in the process of making a whole season...
@@TalesoftheRings sorry to hear about your troubles, but look fwd to the new videos. Best wishes
Thank you friend
wow how long did that video take you? Great work
Ages man 😆 thank you!
So when are we getting a new episode. Cause these are AMAZING
Pair this with Diego Mitre’s ainulindalë and then we’re golden
