The Burning at Losgar marks a pivotal event when the Noldor, led by Fëanor, land in Drengist. As the second host of the Noldor, led by Fingolfin, is abandoned by Fëanor, they nonetheless embark on their perilous journey to Middle-earth. Along the way, they encounter the treacherous icy wastes of Helcaraxë, where many perished.
However, the arrival of the Noldor does not go unnoticed, and Morgoth's forces stir. A great Battle Under the Stars ensues, the second battle in the Wars of Beleriand which showcase the might of the Noldor. Despite their strength, Feanor's recklessness leads to his demise as he relentlessly pursues the remaining orcs and falls to Gothmog, the lord of Balrogs.
The Battle of Lammoth follows, as the Noldor, led by Fingolfin and his mighty host, clash with the Orcs sent by Morgoth to attack Feanor's rear. The outcome of this battle becomes intertwined with the ongoing conflict between Morgoth and the Elves, shaping the fate of the Noldor and their struggle against the darkness in the War of the Jewels. With these events the First Age of the Sun begins, marking the start of a new era in the annals of Arda.
