Nice to try this , every time I start I’m negative, negative and it gets annoying and frustrating that I’m loosing money and even after raising taxes to 30% and fees to 200 percent I’m still underwater , feels like the first game was so much more easier in building my city and not have all these fees I pay more then before
Love the organic streets rather than just all 90* turns and boxed up like everyone else does. Looking forward to seeing more

There is on land connected spot to the outside world. Otherwise if you own the ocean tile you can run power lines water pipes or tunnel trains and roads to the outside world that way too. Also, build all the farms you can. Free jobs and you can always move them later like real life.
Started as a log mill and town at the mouth of the river which provided free transport for logs. It has since diversified into fishing and The Trans Atlantic AT&T cable also provided winter time jobs creating a Technology/ IT sector.
Tip 1: put windmills near your growing spot it will make more electricity.

Thanks for these Anno 1800 videos! I really appreciate all the effort and advice you put into them. Now my people won’t suffer anymore, and the AI leaders won’t feel sorry for me and donate 15,000 to fix my “mistakes” and still screw up… Oh lord, have mercy. I’m just laughing at myself for how I had the sawmills in each of my lumber yards… and I did that with everything else, dude 😂. I always went broke. Sigh Lesson learned!

0:50 - pretty sure that the trafic just despawned, spawning pedestrians instead 19:14 Demolishes 4 buildings to place one. Getting thumbs down. Surprised. I finally caught up with you in my own playthrough and here are some things to note: 1. Postal services. One of the main reasons why highest level residential does not fill buildings 2. Downtown West is a mess - just click on a few residential there. Really high crime rates alongside lack of postal services bring every residential slowly down, so people keep leaving\dying

@@Czardus Also I ran into a problem trying to implement them. For some reason (and I found out that this is a known bug) postal offices does not work like they should if you have a cargo station. They just stops collect mail at some point and doing nothing...
Still following along. And after you put down a school my first though was "That's a pretty god spot for parking". I checked and saw that it doesn't fit... and you did exactly the same thing right after :D

Honestly I am likely to put a hold on Manor Lords for a bit. The hype seems to have died down during the last month or so, but I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye on it. This title has great potential.
extremely good series but im wondering i only have 500 000 dollars when you have around 1 - 2 million
It could partly be because I made this series with the original version of the game, and they've made several changes to the economy simulation. I may make a newer version but everything I teach (go slow, build only what you need, etc.) still applies.

Thank you for this great series! I've been following along from the start and at this point I got to ask - why can't you just sell electricity? Like... building a higher output then required and sending overflow back for money? In theory it would pay for itself. And there is a good spot for geothermal generator right alongside the road to coal mine

Thanks for the series! I started busting up when the prisoners broke out. The soothing music and your calm voice contrasted with the sheer chaos of the situation and Bakari "crawling away to safety" was hilarious. It really highlights what makes this game so great!

Draft your colonists and order them to melee with their fists. That will save you from accidentally killing your inmates.
