Join me as I venture into remote, little known places across East Africa in old Land Rovers. In the videos, you will learn about the geography, cultures, and wildlife of the places I visit and get a glimpse of the quirks and fun of owning Land Rovers. There will be times when I travel solo and others where subscribers like you get to tag along in your 4x4s! We could be on an adventure next time by commenting and reaching out.
Do remember to subscribe! Cheers!

Background music top notch❤
Delighted to hear so pal!
Hi Alberto, new follower immediately. Do you have any planned trips for next weekend?
Hi Frank, Thanks for the support. Our next major trip is in August. However we often times have impromptu trips, will be happy to have you join the convoy
L.R. Best brands for offroad adventures. It is knowall over . U don't ve to script on the side like the pretending competitors
Make the videos downloadable
Well done the Rovers. That is my classmate, fr Andrew. May God bless you
Doc deflate the tires for heaven sake....i enjoyed the north with guys though
Deflating tyres makes such a big difference and makes the ride more enjoyable. Glad to hear you enjoyed it
Alberto's car should not be sold but rather be ....decommissioned😅😅😅
Good kenyans with landrover defenders, i advice them to throw away those petrol engines and 200 and 300 tdi's to the trash and work with either BMW m57 or Mercedes om 606...those engines are the best for defenders and they are absolutely bullet proof....hope are enjoying yaself because on the side lines you make feel like we are together...all the best guys
Why can't you just use a new machine to avoid this disappointment
The experience bro
Epic experience. Such really help me unwind from everything. Do one to Icipe in Kajiado, you'll go through Magadi.
It certainly is a refreshing thing! We've been to Icipe about 3 years ago, it was thrilling and can be revisited soon!
Do you have a watsap group?
Yes we do, for Land Rover owners
@@AlbertotheExplorer254 am torn btwn a disco 1 and 2. But very budget conscious
@@Mraiji254 both are great vehicles... if on a budget then a Disco 1 presents a stronger proposition. Go for the 300Tdi engine, tho if not well maintained its a pain. The V8 is actually the best engine if you can stretch your fuel budget. 200Tdi are older and ideal but spares are rare nowadays.
Good stuff
Glad to watch your videos and hope someday to join you guys
So much nonsense goes on in the backcountry these days, we never did any of this shit in the 90s
The backcountry is where to explore nowadays...lots to see!
Can I ask A question please answer me...how reliable are these cars I would like to do overland experience but I'm afraid of Range Rover because of there reputation...but wewe utaniambia ukweli.... experience Iko aje?
Great question bro. So Land Rovers, and Range Rovers lend them selves as unique overland vehicles, extremely capable, comfortable and filled with character. Owning one requires up-to-date servicing and driving them with care, unlike Toyotas and others, then you will enjoy many adventures with it. As you can see from my channel videos, many of our trips are graced with old and new Landy's of all models. And each owner takes pride in them. I encourage you to get a Range Rover, the classic model will be a great start as they are simpler and cheaper to maintain, and parts are all available in Kenya.
🤭The inevitable breakdown -- that vintage -classic - heritage Land Rover Lifestyle -
Blissful and adventurous
Reminds me of the Old Camel Trophy
Wow! Bumped into this Chanel...my alignment brought me here and am loving it looking forward to joining you soon ..just got a 86 rangie a month ago .. looking for a fam to overland and couldn't be happier to bump into you guys
Amazing! Welcome to the family. Please whatsapp me on +254714442917 and we can connect further. Our next trips is to Sagana next weekend...timely for you
Iam here following religiously and virtually thank God guys went safely and came back safely
Thank you, I appreciate the support bro
Watching from Malawi. Interesting video
Glad you enjoyed it. We will be coming to Malawi early April 2024
Mahn! This is awesome! Love the African music, as always! This route looks epic! I love how green & beautiful it is in the TZ side. Didn't expect the BMW Rover would be the culprit this time, hahaha.... hope they managed to fix it. Awesome video, once again Alberto. HAPPY 2024.
Happy New Year to you bro! Appreciate your comments and yes, the music does set the mood for the trip and Tanzania! The BMW Rover in 2023 had a rough year...we went on several trips where it always broke down. Nonetheless it drove back the next day with the mechanics. Tanzania is pleasantly green...we are definitely going back this year
How can I join guys I'm Tanzanian
so God so loved the world that he made every place beautiful, such awesome views, those mountains under cloud cover look Jurassic, awesome video
Oh yes, the Gelai mountains are simply magnificent...I actually was drawn more to Gelai than the famous Ol Donyo Lengai
Great Vid bro as always. And a very interesting route you chose this time. Am curious to know at what point did you cross over back into kenya to connect to Magadi? What are the coordinates coz it surely does not exist on any map i know....😅😅😅
Thanks bro, glad you enjoyed watching this one too. The coordinates are -2.197575, 36.1605 The route we used from Engare Sare was not on any new soft copy or hard copy map at all!
Well done Alberto, great trip. Loved watching it.
Thank you for watching! Do share the content for others to enjoy too
@@AlbertotheExplorer254 will do. May see you again in person sometime. I sent you a Whatsapp
i always love your videos.....kudos for playing the local music instead of the cliche crap people play.
Thanks man! I enjoy digging the archives to look for music from before the 2000 era and of each country/region where we are travelling. If you check our Uganda Expedition video part 3, I play old school music from the country
i have watched all of them my brother.@@AlbertotheExplorer254 i even commented on one using another account to make the video downloadable. lol
Joke of the day. 3:45 😂
And the banter continues :D
Hey Alberto thanks for sharing this beautiful expeditions, I really enjoyed watching. Please send me link of the second Oromo song 🎶 u played....it gave me flashbacks!!! I'm originally from Isiolo living in Berlin. Keep up the good job 👏
Hy Adan, glad to hear you enjoyed the video. The song was sent to me by a friend from Marsabit, who also needs to learn who the artist is. I suppose its one of those that get shared as audio files on Whatsapp, as that is how I received it. Enjoy Berlin and keep visiting home!
Never a dull moment in a land rover expedition 👌
after watching this i have the sudden urge to buy a 4X4 car
You should get a Land Rover, they have characters and dare I say a soul! You will love them even when they act up
live life love travel
You need a drone boss
this is a gem
It is!! People should travel there more often
Really cool, good to see you guys are still having fun
Oh yes, we just got back from Tanzania and will be sharing our experiences soon
what happened to part 2?????
Happy to hear you are curious...check it out, just got published on the channel!
Can I ask why a border agent is needed?
Sometimes when there are very long queues...as you saw with the trucks line-up, agents help expedite the process, and air out processes one is unfamiliar with to hasten the process.
Wonderful , whats the name of the song playing on 9:39 featuring Oliver Mtukudzi from Zimbabwe?
This is beautiful. Come have these long convoy drives in Southern africa too ( Zimbabwe,Zambia,Botswana,South Africa etc ) trust me , you will enjoy it
We are planning on that, Malawi is on our bucket list
U want apartner for traveling together look no more am here
Huge fan...make this video available for download buana
True. He should make the videos downloadable
Alberto make this video available for download buana
This is awesome. Can't wait for the next part. Also I'm glad the African music theme is back. Good job Alberto and the explorers.
Nice adventure : Correction, Embu was the provincial HQ of Eastern Province not North-Eastern..
Oh yes! Thank you for catching that error!
Come tanzania brooh i will join you
Its in the works, very soon

Good job creator. I even saw my cousin on the roadside. Not enough of the Nyambenes though.
