Just after New Year 2020 celebrations, we drove from Nairobi to Marsabit and back, to check up on the Marsabit Tree Project's progress. Following the recent rains, much of the landscape had transformed from the usual dry, brown and dusty plains to a lush green carpet of grass in Kaisut Desert.
We distributed more tree and grass seedballs and made a trip to Mount Marsabit National Park before driving back home.
