    Thank you for this video. I want to learn how to hand engrave to make signet rings for myself and my fiancee as wedding rings. Would these tools and your videos work for learning to make signet rings?

  • @HuiyiTan
    @HuiyiTan16 сағат бұрын

    You will need more than these to make signet rings, etc. If I were going to make only 2 rings, I would sign up for a signet ring making course and use the tools at others’ studio. Because all the tools required are much more than the price of 2 signet rings. It would be a waste of money to get all the tools just for making 2 rings ever.

    @@HuiyiTan Thank you so much for taking your time to reply to us. I should have mentioned I intend to make copies of our rings for each of our sons and daughters. And we want six children. If my business grow in success even more. With the six additional rings, what would you suggest? And what tools are needed?

    I find that inserting the wire through the tube and carefully bending each side up until they meet in the middle keeps the safety catch from rolling. It should be tight and sharply bent.

    Please show mistakes. We all make them and your ingenuity may show us different ways to solve problems. Your videos are always well done. Also, I like the way you wired your solder pad together to extend its life. It’s a frugal use of materials.

    I think it's wonderful that you include difficult things that happen when you're working. Too many people cut things like that out and many people wonder what the heck they are doing wrong when they happen to them! They think the tutorial maker is perfect, and therefore they should be too. That is not LIFE. Thank you, I enjoy your videos!❤❤🤍🤍💙💙

    Hi Huiyi. I'm a new subscriber. I appreciate the insights you impart on your channel. I am from Asia and I want to be a jeweler - jewelry designer. I am considering the British Academy of Jewellery as a training ground goal for me. Do you think that is a good choice? What advice can you give to a cash-strapped person like me who wants to take on this path?

    Thank you gur this video. I've been thinking of making gold spheres. Will 0.5mm thick 18k be strong enough to withstand denting? Also I need to close one hole back up as I plan to use these sohetes as bracelet end pieces. What do you recommend. I will practice on copper. Thank you! I'm very glad to have discovered your videos!
