The trick to pull and remove that air intake is to put a hydraulic jack under the transmission and remove the 3 transmission mount torx bolt ( Tranny side only ) and lowering it with the jack by about 1 to 2 inches. That should give you ample clearance and believe me it took me about 4 hours to figured that out.

It works fine, but there is no indication of whether or not you are currently in cruise on the dash cluster. There is an optional little light that you can install by drilling through your dash and it will light up letting you know when cruise has been activated. It works just like any other cruise control. It’ll speed you up to get you to speed, and it will stop accelerating when you reach speed. It’s nothing fancy. Yes, it is simply plug and play. All it does is give a signal to your accelerator pedal and tell it where to stop. Very simple system no software programming needed at all at the dealership.

I don’t know exactly about the 450 models, but the theory is you find the highest point in the cooling system and that’s where the air bubbles will accumulate. If you can find any coolant hose, that’s very high on the system, simply remove it while you’re refilling and you’ll see air come out. For the life of me I can’t figure out why I keep getting these codes and after I go for a drive in the car and it gets warm, if I put it in park it will lock me out of reverse and drive for a couple minutes
@SmartCarMaintenance4 ай бұрын
I have not had those personally, but if you get P0900, you could technically fix the actuator if you can take it apart, but at that point, it’s much easier and probably better long-term to simply replace the actuator.

Once you have fluid coming out, the air should be purged and you should be able to get it to cycle.
Thanks!
You’re welcome. Thank you for the tip. ^_^
Hey wondering since you’ve done this with yours did you ever run into the codes P0805 and P0900? For the life of me I can’t figure out why I keep getting these codes and after I go for a drive in the car and it gets warm, if I put it in park it will lock me out of reverse and drive for a couple minutes
I have not had those personally, but if you get P0900, you could technically fix the actuator if you can take it apart, but at that point, it’s much easier and probably better long-term to simply replace the actuator.
