@@ToyotaGR86Maintenance one question for you: I changed the mounts due to an engine rumble, which still is not fixed 100%. The torque mount was 100% broken and the drivers mount looked okay. Engine vibration would be apparent in all gears at all speeds if the mounts have gone bad. If your engine is shaking at specific speeds/loads, you may have other underlying issues.

The trick to pull and remove that air intake is to put a hydraulic jack under the transmission and remove the 3 transmission mount torx bolt ( Tranny side only ) and lowering it with the jack by about 1 to 2 inches. That should give you ample clearance and believe me it took me about 4 hours to figured that out.

Thank you very much for your videos! I learned a lot and I'd like to install cruise control with the help of your video. Is it really plug and play? Or does it have to be activated by a software update or something similar. A friend of mine did this with his Smart 450 and had to get it activated by Mercedes. Just trying to plan the things ahead. Also you wanted to give an update on how it works while driving. I'm very curious about it and would love to see a video about that!
@ToyotaGR86Maintenance2 ай бұрын
It works fine, but there is no indication of whether or not you are currently in cruise on the dash cluster. There is an optional little light that you can install by drilling through your dash and it will light up letting you know when cruise has been activated. It works just like any other cruise control. It’ll speed you up to get you to speed, and it will stop accelerating when you reach speed. It’s nothing fancy. Yes, it is simply plug and play. All it does is give a signal to your accelerator pedal and tell it where to stop. Very simple system no software programming needed at all at the dealership.
