How to replace your secondary air pump without dropping the engine.

Sharing my experience of replacing the pump 3 times: 1. If engine check light already on, and didn't hear the pump operate for days, probably the pump seized then burned the fuse, you also need to check the fuse after installed a new pump. (Located under the passenger side leg room, front of cup holder, beside the battery, a big car fuse.) 2. To check the pump seizer: DIs-assemble the pump plastic front housing, you will see the impeller. Rotate it, if it is stuck, then it means the bearing of motor stuck. Then dis-assemble the motor to replace its front bearing, that is about USD $5. The spec of the bearing is #608, 8mm ID x 22mm OD x 7mm H. 3. @ 3:00, Replace the screws (M6) of the mounting frame with Hex head , so can use a wrench to turn the screw from the side.

It is part of the emissions system. It pumps air into the exhaust during a cold start.

You’ll hear the bearings grind on cold start.

Is there any way you could do a video on putting the engine into the service position? I've seen a couple but they aren't nearly as good at explaining as your videos

Sorry, but I do not have the service bolts to do that and I definitely do not want to pay almost $180 for (4) bolts.

The glue from the rubber has failed on mine, do you have the part number to the whole unit?
