I used a new 3/8 spark plug socket and the rubber was too tight, the extension would unclip from the socket. Used some silicone grease on the socket rubber. Its really a very fiddly job. The extension has to be a bit smaller than what most 3/8" socket sets have. Dont even try it with a 1/2" spark plug socket

It’s a bit tight of a job and you’re correct… don’t even try it with 1/2” extensions.

NGK state do not use ant-seise but as you use the bottom-out and turn-degree method (and not torque) it probably doesn't matter.

I have been using anti-seize on aluminum heads for over 20 years and never had an issue so I’m sure it’s fine. ^_^
