    Do you have to leave the sides on the ramp? Would it be ok to not have the sides walls?

  • @GreenGoblin227
    @GreenGoblin22724 күн бұрын

    You need the sides. It’s what takes the round out of the magazine to the chamber.

    When you say you "polish" the feed ramp and chamber what are you using exactly? Nevr dull by hand or some really soft dremel attachment? Going to be doing mine this weekend and just want to have the right stuff.

  • @GreenGoblin227

    I honestly used Flitz polish with a small barrel white buffing wheel on my dremel. but on flats i used 1200-3000 gritt with wd40 as a lubricant. various ranges prior to buffing it with polish to get a mirror smooth finish

    I think the gun is capable of better. Kinds curious about the consistency that you get out of a ported barrel. The biggest thing keeping me away from porting, is the risk of screwing my accuracy.

    30ft with a 2011 or any performance handgun should print about that well. Even a G19 or P365XL with a dot should print a group about that size.

    Agree, my alchemy shot just as good as my SVI sight tracker. Regretfully, sold both and still have my prodigy I’m going through again. The prodigy is one of my favorite 2011, probably because it’s one of the first guns in fit everything but the slide and frame.

    Mine has some hiccups out of the box. But I expect that with some TLC it will get where I want it to go. Then in the future...I may get a Platy or a Stacc...we'll see

    You did hit the key points on where to sand and polish, people bash on this gun but they don’t want to spend the $ on a Stacatto, I really don’t get them haha. Nice video, and beautiful gun!

    Well, if the Tisas 2011's work out of the box, then it will be a bit of a head scratcher why Springfield's still struggle. In all fairness, the MAC 2011, is marginally cheaper than the Prodigy.

    Yea, this gun has ran great for me. For what I have into it and purchased it for, I’m not into it much. In the midst, of doing another cheely grip, and complete recoat as the bazooka isn’t doing it for me anymore. N

    Alchemy changed the grip material its not all polymer like the first ones had, the new grip is made out of carbon fiber with reinforced polymer, Alchemy does make the grip though its not someone else making it, alchemy themselves are making that grip module in house. On the other hand if you want Eli at alchemy to leave you alone or want him to shut up, you can replace the grip with any 2011 grip you desire

    I love the shorter dust cover hoping to order mine soon. I have a prime elite now and yeah keep hearing this shoots as soft as all these comp'd 2011's I would say the lockup and the spring weight are probably dialed in better to account for that. Nice blaster!
