Welcome to our channel dedicated to relaxing DIY furniture restorations and makeovers! Join us for soothing videos that entertain and inspire as we breathe new life into old furniture pieces!
I finally found this playlist and stumbled on your video. Wow! The quality of our skill in both restoration and filming is fantastic, among the very best. I’m so glad I found your channel! One question: what paint remover did you use at timestamp 2:30? I don’t remember seeing one that you could use in a spray bottle. Most are gels.

Hey, thanks for checking in on us. We’ve had to work on pieces off-camera to cover bills since KZread isn’t generating much income yet. We recently had time to start making content again, but Melyssa’s grandmother got sick and, sadly, passed away. It’s been rough, especially with driving back and forth from Florida to Philadelphia to see her during her last few days. Now, we’re back in Philly for her funeral. We hope to get back to creating content for you all soon.

Who was your cinematographer? This video was amazing in so many ways. This is the third in the challenge where there is no talking, be it to the camera or voice over, and instead allowing the tools to talk. And I have to admit I have enjoyed those videos more (no disrespect to the others in this challenge). But your video was a class above. The sights (cute dog, gecko, spiders webs, birds, varnish dripping down the leg, &c.) and the sounds (tools, aeroplane, &c.) just made this video different to all the rest. It was like watching a mini movie of a guy restoring a piece of furniture as opposed to a video of the same (I know what I mean 🤣). It was total ASMR. I'm sorry but I had to say it. It was a 'senses video' (I have ADHD and this is how my brain works). The piece in question was lovely, but you made it beautiful. If this is how your other videos are (this is my first) you've got yourself a subscriber.

🙏😄 Thank you! It’s my girlfriend Melyssa and myself who work the camera and come up with ideas for each shot. We started our channel with music, intense camera movements, and occasional voiceovers, but then took a hiatus. During that time, we watched and took notes on what the audience enjoyed. We also considered that there are plenty of channels that explain what and how they do things. As a result, we decided to focus on telling the story through our lens. Sometimes, people just want to relax and enjoy a restoration or simply be inspired. We’re thrilled that you enjoyed the video and believe that our recent desk restoration video will be a treat for you!
