Excellent work. I love that you chose to redo mdf pieces. So many people will throw those out or avoid them because it takes extra work, but they can still be made beautiful again. Obviously, look at how beautiful your set came out!!!!! Love the socks and sandals, and love the glue hack to seal the mdf. Thank you so much for participating

MDF is such a bear to work with! I watched and felt your pain refinishing this set. The bright color makes it look so refreshed and the repairs looked great! Love the cinematography in your videos and your lush landscaping! I am jealous...need to get some more greenery in the front! Hope Melyssa feels better soon!!

It's so awesome to see the support you all show each other!! I'm a huge fan of their editing style as well Barry. It's what attracted me to their Channel from da rip. The shorter videos are a breath of fresh air when I need a quick pick me up. And then on the other end of the spectrum when I need to unwind & shut my mind off for an extended period of time & decompress I have Channels like yours!! A Win/Win for me. @@diytainment Nope. Folks that spend all that time and effort to rehab a vintage piece, then get at it with their sand paper, chains, chisels, what have you, to make a piece look aged. You 'finished' your pieces & left them pristine!

These turned out beautiful inspite of the damaged MDF. I refinished a side table made of MDF that had water spots on it. I wished I would have seen this video first. It would have saved me some frustration and prevented foul language. 🤫😆 I look forward to your next video!

There were two rings that swelled up quite a bit. I tried to sand it down but I couldn`t get a smooth surface which I believe that is common for MDF. I finally Googled it and saw a guy take a carpet knife, and cut out the damaged rings. Then he used plastic wood to fill it in and sand it down smooth. The table was a dark color with fake black wood grain in it. I thought "What the heck...I`m gonna see if I can get the same result with gel stain and hobby paint. It WORKED! I was so surprised and proud at the same time. I kept it for my spare bedroom because I didn`t feel right about selling it like that. I`m a new flipper so I learn from folks like you. You do amazing work. It`s good to practice some fancy schmancy art work stuff on a piece you don`t really care about. I got lucky and it worked. 😆
