Hi, I'm Wanderbot, and I'm on a personal mission to play as many cool videogames as humanly (or inhumanly) possible! I generally focus on indie games and roguelikes, but dabble here and there with tabletop and AAA games when I can.
I'm also joined frequently by my wife, Chelle- so keep an eye out for the purple robot in my thumbnails. She enjoys gaming as a storytelling medium (and loves analyzing worldbuilding and lore).
If you're a developer: make sure all emails from "me" are from my Wanderbots gmail under the 'view address' button below. Any other spellings are not me, and are people trying to request keys from you by using my name.

My tip is an RTS called 2089 Space Divided from a German indie studio
Personal suggestion of mine,Try frostpunk! It’s 3 dollars right now and the game is criminally good for how cheap you’d be getting it
I own most of these. and One I would ask you to give a try is Rhapsody. a musical adventure. :)
This is legit better than big game showcases because it's tailored and I know and trust the one making the list. Thanks man.
How can we train the phoenix, please help he won't learn new skill in school or teain in the camp whyyyy that?? Anyone got an idea ?
21:43 In the Late night barbacue event, if you refuse to pay, then later in act 3, you will meet an elite called Ekishiki at 1:15:54. She is a judgement that will hit harder if she consider your sin "high". If you pay normally, then your sin will be "average". P/s: There is a hidden act 4 boss in this game called Seija, just like Corrupted Heart in Slay the spire. To go to act 4, you have to take "Hi tech glasses" from Reisen event at 18:45. Then you have to trade it for the "game console" in the Kourindou event in act 2 at 37:50, which you did not do. Then trade the game console for the "Eye cream" at Sumireko event in act 3 at 1:10:43. Finally, trade the Eye cream for Yukari at any gap (rest site) in act 3 for the " Border sensor". And if you have the border sensor, then the act 4 will be unlocked.
Other two games I'd suggest are Balatro and Spell Disk.
fun fact bounsing bettes are a type of landmine that jump and fire pins at waist hight these were nicknamed deblockers during WW2

I'm sure you igured it out by now but the square that has your 3 storages is 5X6 area and the one next to it with the manual wood dryer (which is a 2X3) is a 5X5 area.
Monster Sanctuary and Ring of Pain were games listed that I can recommend if you enjoy turn based gameplay and a variety of builds. I also wanna suggest Blasphemous for those that enjoys Metroidvanias as I got 30 hours off of it and there is a new game plus that I did not do.
For my money, Grim Dawn is the ultimate ARPG. It is, without shadow of a doubt, the greatest ARPG of all time, there's an insane amount of content (builds), a decent narrative and an incredibly satisfying core loop/gear upgrade/crafting system. I cannot wait for the new expansion.
Re: Magical Girl Tabletop... There's "Princess: the Hopeful", a spin off of White Wolf games. I keep wanting to make a campaign with it, but I need someone to bounce off. I have a 'First Episode'... but I can't come up with a second.
Against the Storm is having an expansion soon. I have put a stupid amount of time into that game.
Please release the game on PS5, I've been playing the PS4 version of lost castle 1 for the last 4 years, was definitely one of the better indie roguelites on PS4, I lost track of time so many times playing that game and still to this day I'm still playing, but this looks even better, If this does release on PS5 or PS4 ill be buying day 1
Thank you for suggesting Grimdawn... I have been playing it on and off just to satisfy my itch for an ARPG.. We have the same problem where I only get up to level 50 as I create a new character again and again
Some honourable mentions: > "Metal Unit" - 2,49€ (80% off) An Action RPG Roguelike/Roguelite with neat pixelart, a robust loot- and equipment system and Workshop integration with custom stuff. > "30XX" - 13,65€ (30% off) The sequel to "20XX" and basically "Mega Man X" as a roguelike with an added non-permadeath mode and some sort of level editor. > "MULLET MAD JACK" - 15,96€ (20% off) Colorful and highly stylized FPS roguelite... sorta. Your char rocks a mullet, your operator is a violence obsessed cutie, you need to save a famous streamer, kill billionairs and win the grand price... a pair of shoes.
The endless dungeon team hates the endless series, that games not actually an endless game functionally, also theres literally no content compared to the others, so little that the game literally died 3 weeks after it dropped.
How come your vocal audio sometimes sounds like you're talking into a can during this video? Intermittent reverb
sad you cant play this unless you have 3 other people.
yes I've been looking for more indie games to explore, love your content
I love this game. I can't wait to see you play more of it hopefully
Oh, that reminds me, I am missing a barony DLC.
Would you ever consider making some guides on Endless Legend?
Earth Defense Force is the most fun I’ve ever had co-op!!! EDF 6 Will be out by end of July, these games do improve between but are functionally very similar though so if EDF 5 is on sale , it’s incredibly worth it
revita is one of my favorite games
PM GAME WAS MENTIONED. ACTIVATING PM SLEEPER AGENTS.
Battle Chef Brigade is soo charming. I didn’t play the online material since I didn’t have Switch online- but nonetheless the campaign is quite fun
The Vagrant is less than a dollar right now. Is game heavy inspired Y vanillaware old tittles
Ty for taking the time to make and share this. It was a fun watch
Megaman battle network collection pt1 and pt2 was the best purchase i ever made from this. Nostalgia
Unfortunately the team behind Aegis Defenders disbanded immediately following release. They were young devs and wanted to go their own ways. It is good, however, I second the recommendation.
Ah darn. At least they'll be bringing their skills to other cool games & media. Hopefully.
I was genuinely waiting for this before buying anything lol Thank you
Highly recommend Tangle Tower! A sequel is also in the works!
Starting with Grim Dawn; Oh yeah, this man has TASTE.
If you like oldschool sidescroller space shooters you guys should check out Jets n Guns 1+2. Realy fun Games with tons of different Weapons and great Soundtrack.
Grim Dawn is a must buy for any ARPG fan.
Honestly I'm really pissed that wanderbot didn't stop yapping and just watch what's going on in the first few minutes. Like when blue and orange were fighting and the orange took over blue's core, blue becoming orange - he just completely missed it
I just got revita the other day, really fun. I’m not too far in, but things are starting to unlock pretty quickly. Looking forward to the rest
I think you tore up the Energy supply to your SW miners...
Recommending Lobotomy Corporation is truly evil.
Others must suffer like I suffered.
Damn another 1 hour of recommendations
8 added to wl, thanks!
Nice video, it is always nice to hear what games could be hidden gems from a person who plays a ton of awesome niche games😄
Pixel top-down astroneer. Brilliant 👏 looks really fun. Gives the decs plenty of room to take things in their own direction while utilizing the most fun mechanics of astroneer. Very cool
Can't forget DEMON'S TILT and XENOTILT!!!!!
great recommendations, anode heart, tangle tower and cassette beasts are my favorites.
Even though I wont be buying any atm, I love listening to these because some of them are serious bangers for me.
