Monopoly is fine, it just takes too long. I prefer playing a digital version, where you don't have to worry about the rules. Most people who play "house rules" are just making the game take longer than it needs to. This is #2 on "worst casual board games" for me. Top spot would be "Risk".

I got this puzzle when it came out and it sat there intimidating me for a year. I finally got up the nerve to try and after 3 days I finally solved it, I was so happy! It was so much fun.

Idk how she can visualize the exact slot where a piece should be placed..... She never has an hesitation. She has a special power. Idk if it's due to a lifetime's hard practice, or if she is specially gifted (spatial visualization) but, anyway, I admire her so much and at the same time it's quite scary how good she is..... It's like she automatically kill the competition everywhere she plays (except if there's Alejandro playing too haha).....

But I swear that Kristin is a mystery. I don't understand how she can post such amazing times by being so slow in her approach/movements/technique..... When I try to speed puzzle, I'm almost always over the one-hour mark, and yet my arms/hands/body move everywhere like crazy......

But what you don't realize is that 57 minutes is also crazy to me with just one hand and a nonchalant technique. I find your time crazily good even for a second attempt, just because this puzzle is not easy and because you did it with this technique..... Even though she is in another dimension from you, you are in another dimension from me. We are all in our own level. I look up to you. You are very fast. She is even faster than you, but you are still very fast.

This is sooo cool that it's an actual playable version of Monopoly! And it looks pretty deluxe too - that bank money holder and the house/hotel holders are so neat! I want more 3D puzzles that are playable board games! As for Monopoly being a good game - I think it's fine when played by the rules. I'm not super into auctions or negotiations so it's not my type of game. My husband loved playing it when he was growing up so he knows all the strats and has taught me them when we play together.

I actually just did a Monopoly board jigsaw puzzle that Parker Brothers produced in (I think) the 1970s. Theoretically you could use it as an actual game board.

A good, rousing game of Monopoly can be great fun, destroy friendships, and tear families apart. Play at your own risk. You have been warned.

wonder whether this product actually satisfied its target demographic, or whether that demographic even existed? As Karen said, “I’m only here to puzzle, I’m not actually here to play Monopoly.” If you’re the “Puzzler”, do you buy this puzzle? If you’re the “Gamer”, do you lose patience and abandon during the puzzling part? I wonder how many would be excited for both puzzle and play? 😊

I got a Puzz3D Empire State building in the 90's... was never able to figure it out...the pieces all looked the same (same colors) and weren't really... clear fits/no fits... if you get my meaning.

I'm the only family member who likes board games, so I haven't played Monopoly in years. But when I could find someone to play with back in the day, we started out with the official rules and then switched to house rules when the game went on too long.

Monopoly is no longer fun once all the properties are bought. The second half where you buy houses and hotels is super boring.

The puzzle may have been a used puzzle which is why so many pieces were connected. It is easy to shrinkwrap a box and retape a bag closed to make it look new.
