Bro it's 40% didn't even take me 2 seconds if 40 is 50% of 80 and 8 is 10% of 80 so 32 is 40-8 which is 50%-10% so it's 40% now idk if this looks complicated but this is so easy I can do it mentally in matter of milli seconds

the problm is this question was invented by an idiot and is flawed. Is your actual sister or brothers age always a fixed amount of years older or younger than you? In order to give a definitive answer you must assume they share the same birthday!

I made this up myself: x/100 * 80 = 32 But then when I learned the formula I just did 32/80*100

No algebra needed. 80÷100= 0.8×24= 😮19.2 80÷100=0.8×32 =😮 25.6 80÷100=0.8×40=😮32 80÷100=0.8×45=😮36 Simple maths 🎉🎉🎉
