We actually did Mt Washington a few years ago. There was enough pressure change our bag of chips popped on the way up, that sure startled both of us! It has some impressive drops and close edges too! The wind at the top was crazy.

And I know this video is old, however, please put your cover back on your electric panel and do not store cardboard and flammable solutions in front of it. When molded case circuit breakers fail, (and they do) 10,000 degree F. sparks shoot out in all directions, and that recipe for fire is complete in your current condition for instantaneous combustion. I’m a master electrician. Once again, thank you for helping me with my steering box and lines.

Looks nice, I like seeing the new products. I don't know if I like the no fan though. I have 2 midnite classic 150 and they have fans and they run a little bit to hot for me. But I'm in central Florida crazy hot. We have talked a few years back you and Todd helped me program my controlers. I'm not to tech savvy. Other than to make sure the battery is charged and connected, You could check all the fuses. After that its going to be trouble shooting the issue by verifying its getting switched DC etc

The cord may "Look" Shady as hell but as a licensed professional I can assure you electrically it is perfectly fine. I would not use it long term as it has no water resistance in any way but for a test the proper size wire nuts on the twisted wire connections is perfectly sound and common practice. I would venture a guess the house you are currently in has many connections made the same way. Plenty safe and perfectly capable of handling the current with no issues. Again we would not run it for anything more than a test but it is perfectly capable of handling the current and would not add to the issue of the generator not being any good.

You may note we figured out early on in the video this generator was used. It had gas in it, it had oil in it, the box was double taped. Simple fact is this particular model has a ton of online reviews showing its a lemon. The predecessor of this model was rock solid from what we can read online. Either way we are super happy with our harbor freight inverter generator, and it does what we need done so all is well that ends well. We were very shocked to see a used generator in stock in Lowes with GAS in it. You're telling me they do not check returns and just thrown them on the shelf? Morral of that story look for double tape on the box and investigate before you drive 3hrs to find its a lemon.

Could 2 Midnight Solar SPD be used, one on each 120v line of a 240v system, and the commons from each SPD combined? Cheaper way to protect the 240v common than the empshield? Wow... That doesn't even make sense to me... What I want to do is protect 3 strings of 240v micro-inverters (that combine to feed a long 240v line to the main), from any surge from the grid or from some malfunctioning appliance on that line. The 240v feed from the inverters is on common but is of course bonded to ground at the main.

Yes 2 would work perfect, Say red of SPD1 to L1, Black of SPD1 to Neutral. Red of SPD2 to L2 and then you have the black it could also go to Neutral or either of the L1 or L2

@@aroundthehomesteadwithsuer3497i ran through the exact same issue. Fresh o-ringed head. My block was within spec, but definitely not as flat as a fresh deck. I didn't have the time or money to pull the engine and deck it. I did do the hot re-torque. My head gasket eventually leaked. Head studs got hit by coolant, corroded and started snapping. So I got to do it all over again! This time I did the whole bottom end.

As I referenced videos and the installation guide, I noticed everything I saw had units that came with a cord already attached. I noticed my unit had a cord just like yours. It caught me off guard because every diagram speaks about blue wire, yellow wire and obviously a red and a black, but they would not specify anything about what goes where. Every video and everything I saw told me that the wire should be labeled and my wires definitely were not labeled. if you could just verify matching the 123 indoor and outdoor than I think I’m completely good. It was a setback for me yesterday.

In Arizona, Grand Canyon, Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, Flagstaff (lockette meadow if its open). While going north into Utah, monument valley, bryce canyon. In Colorado, Ouray, Telluride, Durango, Rocky Mountain NP, etc......Have safe travels. Gary in Michigan

So I was wondering. My solar array is about 40' from my controller (MN3024) and e panel (MNE200DIY). At the solar array I'm going to install the MNPV3 combiner box. Both the e panel and the combiner box are set up to allow a surge protector. In order to keep the e panel as clutter free as I can, I was going to install the surge protector at the combiner box close to the array thinking it shouldn't make a difference, while still protecting the controller. I guess I'm just looking for confirmation that my train is correct? Thanks again ...

Well I am not a licensed HVAC tech but my gut tells me you need to hire a pro to come evacuate the refrigerant, Vacuum it down and them charge it with the proper amount of refrigerant..

I called Anderson Hitch. The hitches that are damaged online were the caused from an accident or stupidity.
That has been my findings as well. Like anything misuse or accidents can and will cause unwanted results lol
The Anderson hitch is made of aircraft Aluminum think about the wight of a passenger Jet and how much wight and stress it takes.

The 3024 is physically smaller but generally the same layout if I recall

I would get hold of Anderson hitch and get a new piece and a new longer bolt. Their very good about replacing things like that.
