It really is, We could not pass it up, Even if we dont keep it long term.

Have a 96. U can change your pump springs to a 3000 set .Will fuel up to 3200 rpm. Also upgrade your AFC housing. Big improvement.

The pump has 4K springs and the AFC has been modified for long travel etc now. The issue is the 94 through 96 pumps had a different cam design that causes them to fall on there face at 23-2500 RPMS. If you feed them 40-45PSI on the fuel pressure they are better but it is a known issue with those vintage pumps. We changed the pump on this truck for a stockish pump with 4k springs and modified AFC and the pump off this truck is riding out west with us. I may get PDD to go through it while out there and put it on the other dodge. Stay tuned

Best thing Dodge ever did was put the Cummins in it.
