I’m a side sleeper too and my shoulder/upper arm has been killing. I can just move my arm an it feels like it’s going to pop out socket. I have been trying to train to sleep on my back but failing majorly Also I switch my smartwatch to my ankle game changer when on walking pad/treadmill.

Ginger is the best. One of my cats also likes being held like that, so I have to carry her like a toddler around the house while I’m cooking and cleaning.

I love that my favorite comfort vlogger started off this vlog with talking about your aches and pains as I'm sitting here with a lidocaine patch (HIGHLY recommend) on my shoulder/back and a heating pad on my arm. Here's to us Millennials getting older and Liv's amazing 2 hour vlogs! <3

I feel you on not having enough gigabytes to remember what happens in a book before you read a sequel, that’s why I love rereading so much. It’s like a new book every time🤣

You don't have to do the french knots until the very end. Just look up some tutorials - it's not too bad! I must cross-stitch with the same intensity as you because I always break my needles in half...

So you don’t have to read mistborn, you just get extra Easter eggs. Sanderson has said many times that you can read the whole cosmere to get all the extras BUT it’s not necessary to read everything. I dnf’d the mistborn series lol he’s purposefully written things in a way to not force readers to have to read 1 series to understand the other.

I'm a few days late but welcome to the BEIS community. I have the carry-ons and the weekender in gray. You should be okay with putting the mini weekender under the seat. I manhandled mine and was still able to sit comfortably. I also get anxious when I put my carry-on in the overhead bin and take it down. I rearrange my bags as I walk down the aisle to make it easier.

I do stamped counted cross stitch. A couple of points-I’ve never broken a needle. Not sure what is going on there. The color key on the paper may not match the color key at the bottom of the fabric. Very important that you find out by finding an easy solid area, like the green window. Check what the green is on the bottom of the pattern and double check against the paper chart-then either follow one or the other. If you find the fabric too stiff-just roll and scrunch until it softens a bit. Doing by square can be problematic if you have tight tension because you can get tension lines. Feather the edges of your squares by stitching 10 stitches in one row, 11 stitches on the next, alternatively in solid areas. I just work on whatever I feel like at the time-all background can get tedious , but it’s perfect when you’re tired and don’t want to think. Good luck-I think it’s a lot easier than regular counted cross stitch because you don’t have to constantly look at the pattern.

I noticed such a huge difference and felt like I had waaaaaay more time in my day and I did not miss scrolling at all. I recommend it to everyone considering it!!! So much more time for hobbies!!!

I get neck/shoulder pain like you described when I need new pillows. I need to reinvest in some down pillows as I didn't have that issue with down but I had mine for literally 15 years and they were leaving down everywhere so I've been trying less expensive options that are more humane and it's ending up being far worse for the environment BC I'm needing to replace my pillows every few months and then my pain is gone and then I start to get sore slowly and repeat. As much as I really wanted to stay away from down BC it feels cruel, I know I have to go back there for my neck and shoulders! Right now I'm trying to justify the insane price of quality Canadian down but I've concluded that the amount of toxins and perfectly good fabric I'm putting into landfills is worse for the planet and it's animals long term. Like 15 years of amazing pillows no replacements and now quarterly ish? I guarantee that my environmental impact was far less before and this current cycle is not only giving me pain but it's unnecessarily repurchasing things that harm the environment to make and then to degrade... It's not like I can donate a dead pillow. Anyway if you don't already have down and you're morally ok with the fact it's not vegan, I think it will be a game changer for your body and the support given at every angle from how you can fluff them or beat them down to a cozy reading spot to lying flat sick with a migraine... Oh and when I say mine lasted 15 years I DID machine wash and dry (took forever but I did it!) and during that time I was being diagnosed with ptsd and trying to get meds right etc and was often living out of bed only getting up to use the bathroom BC my depression and paranoia was so bad. Those pillows basically did the job of 30 years of sleeping. I should totally be embarrassed to say that but I'm not BC that's real life for my mental health. My second recommendation as someone whose spent a ton of time in bed is to not try and sleep in a certain position. Just do whatever the heck is comfortable and allow yourself room to be able to switch positions without waking fully to rearrange. Example, I sleep with a pillow by my knees but it's light enough that it can be moved aside if my legs want. I have a pillow on the edge of the bed to throw my arm over and since it's on the edge I can roll away onto my back or other side and not need to wake up. So I wake up with pillows on the floor sometimes? Oh yeah! But I am not waking up to try and get comfy again! (Until my pillows die and I need new ones 😢)

My son flys all the time. They often take his carry on and send it to cargo at no extra cost esp if the flight is sold out. The stewards and stewardesses will help you put your luggage up and help get it down. You don't slow them doing this! They pack the top for balance (weight) and to fit well (tetris) so your carry-on may not even ride directly above you. It may be up or down the aisle or across. They have to make sure it's packed well for turbulence and good weight distribution... My bestie is in airlines and my kid flys way too much for my anxiety. All that to say, don't worry about it. Just label your stuff for your own ease and trust that the employees do this thousands of times a year seems they don't expect you to know their ways! 💞

Definitely would be into your mindful eating content. I have high cholesterol myself (though it’s hereditary since I was 5 so I’m not sure how much I can even accomplish with diet) and watch my fat content. Always love watching you plan out your walks, I have had an infected blister on my foot and haven’t been able to do my walks for a few weeks and I definitely feel myself having to work harder on my mental health without them!
