Awareness

Welcome to Awareness, a channel dedicated to helping you make incredible advances on your journey, get a stack load of information through our On-line Awareness Series and most importantly expand your Awareness to begin to Live Conflict Free.

We're Kevin and Shelley and every week we upload new videos with fresh tips on observing the identities and/or Tai Chi development.

People all over the world spend tremendous amounts of time, money and energy in the search of resolution to the problems and conflict in their lives, only to come back to the realization that, for the most part, the conflicts somehow still remain.

Why is this?

This is a question we want to empower you to answer for yourself with the help of our Awareness Tai Chi, The On-line Awareness Series, and our exquisite Therapeutic Harps.

If there's a question you would like answered in a video, leave a comment below and we'll see what we can do.

Don't forget to subscribe.

Thanks for watching!

Brilliant videos which are really me helping to understand Tai Chi. I have asked several people and not really got an answer - what is the "parry" bit of chop with fist, deflect, PARRY and punch?

I know how to do most of the moves but I am having a hard time remembering them in order. Do you have a way of getting the vocal moves spoken where I can download it onto an MP3 player?

I leave the more detailed information for students who work with me directly, so I can keep tabs on how they are doing and answer questions along the way. This is the best demonstration of the Taoist Tai Chi set that I have ever seen -- on video or in real life. I hope that the combination of three things --- watching this video and attempting to move my body in exact imitation of what I am seeing, following the instructions in the book by John Panter & Rick Davis, and my own muscle memory -- will enable me to re-learn the 108 moves.

Hello Kevin. I followed you a few years back when I was first learning Tai Chi. I thought you had a video of the 108 step set, with you calling the step moves, but not details of what to do in each move. Unfortunately, I cannot find that particular video. Am I wrong? (I am now down to practicing only one day per week because I am financially challenged by, and disagree with the “voluntary” $300 “donation”, especially since our town hall provides free space and heating for us.) Please let me know if you do have such a video and what it’s title is. Thank you!

Hi Darlene, Tor yus and Dan Yus are foundations exercises that Mr. Moy implented in his form of Tai Chi. They actually come from his teacher Liang Ze Pang and his teachings of Yi Chuan and Luihebafa. Check out our other videos on the foundations to find out more and how to do them. Cheers Kevin
