I'm a Huge animal advocate with a Zoology degree; fascinated by animal behavior; studying them all my life. I value individual lives. Began after watching my 1st dog die in my arms. It changed me. All life gained greater meaning, value and respect for me. Consistent Repetitive, Compassion, Love, & Respect is what I offer to the living now.

Plan on establishing a private but genetic quality cheetah breeding and rewilding center in South Africa. Have fallen in love with cheetahs & preparing to spend all my resources & knowledge supporting their conservation. Plan on raising, training, & rewilding captive born cheetahs into a protected game reserve to roam wild & free.

Many people see Cheetahs hunting, running, killing, resting, or raising their young in documentaries or zoos. I Try & show the up-close and personal side of Cheetahs. I was pleasantly surprised how wonderful their personalities can be.

Dolph, we have two tigers. one wild one named Cabal and the other white one named Saba. and i will tell you that the aggression of the Fushan tiger is nothing compared to the aggression of the Cabal. he can tear the fence furiously with his teeth and jump on the fence again and again, roaring like crazy. when he is on the other side of the enclosure , sometimes he even runs over on purpose to show how wild and angry he is. while Saba is completely different. Saba is so tame and friendly that you can safely enter to him yourself and play with him, cuddle him or ride on him 😁. similarly clouded leopard Vex. except Vex plays rough and might accidentally scratch you 😅.

According to the article that i read, cheetah is closer to the domestic cat than the big cat if we see according to their family relatives, even cheetah sounds like domestic cat and they see a human as a predator, so they avoid human when they see them. Yup, most of what that commenter said. Cheetahs had to survive in a world of predators that of equal size can and do kill them. So they survived by running away bluffing and being skittish. That includes humans.

Dental disease or infection is the leading cause of chronic renal failure in domestic cats. If you haven't looked into that as a factor, see if you can find a link. He was absolutely adorable. Thank you for sharing his playful side with us. ❤

Good info. Captive and wild cheetahs only dental care is chewing on bone. Many captive ones get dental disease, tooth decay, abcesses and lost teeth as they get older. Many need surgeries to correct but I want to do preventative and might need to teach my captive ones to allow brushing teeth. Have to do it when cubs or very tame ones. Otherwise you have to perform dangerous sedatives or anesthesia. Took my st Bernard abiut twice a year to clean her teeth with mild sedative. Hated it. Bad for them. But she had gingivitis. Got dog food all life.
