  I think it was necessary for the mother to be very conservative and “ no santa exist” in order to make the story . The actress playing this portrayed this character well . I do however think the character was awful (not the actress). The character the mother was very unfair on her daughter and I felt so sad for that poor little girl. A childhood should exist and be a happy one . The mother’s boyfriend I thought was a bit of a wimp and I can’t imagine what he saw in that woman . I think he would have been better off dumping her TBH. In my opinion she wasn’t allowing that poor little girl to enjoy childhood or have the childhood fantasies that every child should have . Unless for religious reasons it’s not their faith , then that’s different. But again she needed the man to fall in love with to make the story since the girls wishes were to have a dad and a baby brother.

  Omg this was my favorite movie as a kid and I’m so glad my mom remembered the name!! I could always picture like parts of the movie and I just remember loving it so much. Wow! Finally I know what it’s called 🥲

  sure, macaulay culkin is so adorable but, one of my favorite moments in this video is 1:57-1:58 when hillary wolf and angela goethals look at macaulay culkin and then each other in complete silence after he says i went shopping yesterday, i got some milk, eggs and fabric softener. since it's obvious that neither of them could believe he did the shopping by himself.
