Whirlwind lol. Back in that time, courting wasn't as long at times. It was longer than a couple days/weeks, but it was less than today

Mmm not really. Religious couples get married all the time without barely knowing each other, arranged marriages etc. My parents had me and the got married all in the space of less than a year. I do think back then it was more common, these days people do tend to wait longer before considering marriage.
