I first saw your Bluesette vid and have enjoyed several more of your 'jazz-on-tele' vids. That's a great tone for solo instrument. I'm attempting to play music that works with the guitar alone and your playing has me looking for a good song to start work on. Thanks for posting this.

I love your tone. You have such control over your right hand. I always sit at my desk,, after my kids are put to bed, playing your vids at half speed trying to mimic your renditions of all these jazz songs. Thanks for that!

Thanks for sharing that! Having two young kids myself, I certainly know the feeling of the later evening practice sessions. We’ve got to get it in when we can. Thanks for listening and I am happy this music is connecting with you.

@@NicholasRussell It Most definitely does. KZread is quite funny, right? I have been watching online guitarists for years and the reality is that I now have so much new skills to focus on, without the artists even having the faintest idea that every evening I am, kind of, studying with them. Anyway, thanks once more for the beautiful music and have a nice day!

Great tone. What amp are you using?
@NicholasRussellАй бұрын
Hello Mark - Thanks for your comment on FB and also here. This was a quick recording straight into a plug-in! I wasn’t thinking much of it but it seems people do enjoy the tone. I was using the Neural DSP Morgan Amp if I remember correctly. I think most listeners are enjoying the warmth of the tone and also a touch of delay and verb. Likely could be achieved with a low wattage tube amp, mic’d. I am also playing with a Pro Plec pick and using the neck pickup rolled back. Cheers!

Hi There, I set this Godin up to 6/64” on the bass side to 4/64” on the treble side. I also filed the nut slots down to a spec that I felt comfortable with. Generally I find it’s very playable after the tweaks! Thanks.
