Let's plan a trip!
Hello, and welcome to our channel!
We're a UK-based couple who craft video and written guides for short, memorable trips with the people you love. These travel guides are based on our own treasured holidays, offering tips and itineraries designed for anyone who dreams about exciting getaways without quitting the day job.
While we do hope these guides will help with giving you some travel inspiration, we like to get stuck into the practical details too - because your time is too valuable for exhaustive planning*!
*(plus I weirdly really enjoy that bit!)
I hope you find our videos helpful.

Have stayed in Malaga numerous times. Last year we found the Atranzanaz hotel.. just book a room only and have breakfast in the Atranzanaz market directly opposite... great fresh food and you sit outside in the street while you eat. A really great city.. 🏴👍 oh, and a great review, too, by the way.. thank you. 👍
Thanks for sharing your hotel find! Glad you enjoyed the video 😊
My wife and I our heading next Wednesday for 3 1/2 days. Great guide, thanks so much.
Glad it was helpful! Hope you have fun
We are planning our 5th trip to Venice. Having looked at many videos on YT to catch up on changes, I can say this is the absolute best. It's wonderfully shot and narrated with a great deal of pertinent information. Your bookmarking of chapters and map of sites are brilliant additions. Well done and mille grazie!
Thank you for the kind words, much appreciated! I hope you enjoy the trip (I imagine you will if you're going back for a fifth time 😀)
Thank you 🙏
Love this! Thank you so much. We are paying the town a visit this bank holiday weekend from Liverpool. Taking the kids on a rowing boat should be great fun!
Thanks for watching, I hope you have a fun trip and that the kids love the boat! 😀
I loved this video & I'm in Malaga now (while others are just thinking about it 😂)
Thank you! Hope you are having an excellent time 😁
Thanks for this, visiting York in august and very much looking forward to it.
Have a great trip! 😀
Well done video, As I'm from Skipton 👍🏻
Thanks very much! 😃
Great video. Thanks. Heading there July 24 😊
Hope you enjoy it!
@@OurTravelPlace I am certain we will, even though it will be sooo hot then !☀
Went to Paros last June, and loved it. Still found it busy at that time but wasn't anything we couldn't handle. Not sure if you checked out Antiparos as well but that is also great to go to as well. I did find the buses would get you around to pretty much anywhere you needed to go it just takes time. Obviously it is better to have a car but parking them in Naoussa or Parikia could be a challenge if you are staying there.
We have stayed on Antiparos but it was a different trip a few years ago. Loved it! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on transport too 🙂
I loved that museum when I was a kid!!! The smells and sights. I can't wait to go back.
Tbh I still enjoyed it even as an adult 😀
Great video _ I live near Knaresborough and it's definitely a charming town full of character and history _ Guy Fawkes would be walking the streets of Knaresborough as a teenager _ much of the stone from the castle was used to build town buildings
Great content with good information. Thank you for sharing 🎉
Majestic and wonderful Seville.
Some impressive things to see and do. well done.
I live in Norwich and have done for the last 33 years. Once you've come to Norfolk it gets into your soul and you either keep visiting or like me remain.
I look at the Cambrige and I think that universities tear young people away from reality, and that it is impossible to return to reality after university illusions. As a result, few people in the world are capable of solving the problems that have accumulated before humanity. The best teacher is life itself. Philosophers, historians, lawyers and journalists must work in seven different businesses, communicate with a wide range of people and learn a living and practical psychology. Academic psychology is only suitable for intellectual narcissists to entertain their peers over cups of coffee. A practicing intellectual person does not need forty subjects studied in universities, but much less. So you need to come to the university once a year for a week or two not only to take a small number of exams (one exam per year), but above all to communicate with intelligent people who help to systematize the experience gained during discussions. . It is necessary to implement the principle of Socrates: it is not necessary to put ready-made theories in a person's brain, but to let theories be born in his brain. So we do not need conferences, but debates on questions from real life. And to have food for discussion, you have to immerse yourself in real life, and not be in an artificial university environm.
We LOVED Lindos. Went before having kids (twice as we loved it so much). Temps hit 41 though in August the second time we were there!! (Think that was quite rear though) Would love to go back.
And we stayed at Lindos Horizon too! Stavros and his family and staff were great.
Lindos Horizon is such a nice little hotel! Love the view from the pool too 🙂 Oof 41 🥵🥵
I love how the crow looks like they’re wearing a little white waistcoat 😊 such a smart and friendly birb ❤
Those canals must be stinking by now. Awful place to go to. The best thing to do there is leaving.
I will be staying in Triana for one month in November studying Flamenco. I am an older dancer (67) fulfilling a lifetime dream. I will be renting an Airbnb within a few blocks of my teachers studio! Abit nervous that I may feel lonely. My Spanish is fairly good but not fluent. I thought maybe taking some classes in Spanish would be smart and a way to connect with other travelers.
Wonderful video😊
Thank you 😀
The shakespeare i think is older than the Dun cow
Dunholm is the name Durham use to have
Fantastic video. Love your approach to content. Can still see the city through your perspective without your face being in every frame. Thanks for putting together and sharing!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy our style of video!
This is too slow even on 2x speed.
Nicely explained
❤

Southwold’ Aldeburgh and walsberswick are all lovely too!
Thanks for the recommendations!
Hi, thank you for this video. Is it possible to do it all in 3 days coming from London by car?7
I don't think you can squeeze it all into 3 days. Hope you enjoy the spots you do decide to visit though! 😀
We did not care for Mykonos. Felt fake. Might as well go to Rodeo Drive in Hollywood. Paros & Naxos thumbs up!
We went in late March - early April. Loved it. No crowds. 70s. We swam in those gorgeous Aegean seas.
Sounds lovely 😍
The high street is NOT blocked off on market days
It was when we went but this video is quite old now! 🙂
I have come here after reading about it in Stoker's Dracula
aircraft!!
Excellent study as ALL tour guides should be. Well done!! I'm going to Seville for the 2nd time this summer and you have provided a terrific summary of things I completely missed 1st time 'round.
Thank you, have a great return trip!
Hey, thanks for the video really informative. Just a question I had, how do the buses work in terms of payment, will a standard card work like on london buses or would I need to get a ticket etc. ?
Thanks, glad you liked the video! We ended up walking everywhere but this website has good info on using the city buses 🙂 www.lovegranada.com/transport/granada-city-buses/
