Fake hand
games easy when you can see the cards. 4 to a straight, back door flush gets there board is so stupidly wet. Villian had a good spr to just jam. don't hate the fold
Is V deep stacked? How are we not getting it in on the turn?
This was a great analysis, and I'd like to see more like this. Shows the value of putting in the last raise, pre-, and of using sizing to apply max pressure at the right moment. Plus, love to see creative play get rewarded.
This is a good fold by the Hero, Villain is described as a "loose splashy player" but how many hands have you seen where he goes to showdown! Chalk this up to a good bluff and move on!
This hand didn't happen
The mike apostle line gets me every time🤣
He was basically screaming he had AQ the way the hand was played…you can’t always play like your opponent has a set man or you’re never gonna make any money at the table
Don’t agree, was a very good play. Pretty much forces a fold besides 2/3rd nuts.
I'm making this fold 100% of the time and not losing any sleep over being shown the bluff
Yeah this dude married the hand and was going to take it all the way if the board vut him in anyway
64s wasn’t even on my fucking radar 😂
That hand was known as the Wild Horse nuts. Wild Horse is Indian casino in Phx area.
can you'all explain to me: if the board full of spades and i have a middle spade according to the board, and my opponent has no spades- is this a draw or did i won?
For flushes it’s the best 5 cards, if all 5 cards on the board were higher then yours then it would be a split. If you have a higher flush then any of the cards on the board you win
@@jadelester4086 and if, for example, i have a king and there's an ace on the board is this a draw?
@@soronto6510 you would win, you would have an AKxxx flush which would beat his Axxxx flush
@@jadelester4086 thank you
@@soronto6510 no problem man, Goodluck in your future poker games
This caller just heard on a vlog you should use A5s as a preflop bluffing hand and went completely off the rails with it in a low stake live game in which nobody folds and where GTO play rarely applies. Some of these guys need to watch less Doug Polk in high stakes games and listen to more CLP call-in hands.
That is actually the weakest part of my game. Calling with hands that are marginal at best, that would win if i called, but I talk myself into folding, leaving a lot of money on the table
Villain played this horribly. You gotta check raise that turn with 8's. Obviously behind but most likely would have ended up stacking hero.
Dummy
I don't think you can check, and risk getting a check back from anything less than a flush. $750 is too small. I think $1000-$1100 is the more appropriate sizing.
Seeing hands like this really makes me realize I need to move up the stakes. There’s is barely any 4-betting at 1/3 unless it’s top of your range.
Good call, I know some of the nit videos probably get more comments, but they're also an afront to poker .... still can't get over the recent one where the guy folded trip 5's on a 554 two club flop, all because of a reraise.
I am new to poker really. Didn't think you could muck a hand once called? New to me.
Good shove.
I can't think what value hands play this way, if I'm villain, I know I have more sets and that would make me call.
This guy is a joke
If the camera can’t see the table clearly then that’s a gaming commission issue… all the credibility of that card room comes into question. Have all the players give statements and speak with the casino duty managers cause it’s unacceptable to have a cash game table not covered by decent cameras for this EXACT issue. Far as I’m concerned that casino owes you $800, and they’ve failed their duty of care to you as a player (that’s Uk law if you were ever going to take them to court)
Another play to bluffer
This player is gambling, not playing! I bet he loses a lot of money playing like this! He's the sort of player we all want to sit at the table with! 👍😎✌🗽
Turning q into a bluff? Just because the flush is on the board aq can get called by worse by some players. If you're going to fold that river 2x por shove the turn you've played like scares money
I play online for a living from the uk im so lucky really just to be sble to play online v soft players and decent rake and no tax
Scared of shadows
This guy is a clown. He just says what everyone already knows.
When you 5 bet you want to go BIG. Their 4 bet range is strong so you want to put them in a tough spot. QQ and AK facing $800 preflop might hero fold now but theyll always peel for small
I feel like Bart got a new camera
What value hands does hero have that 5b pre, 1/5 pot flop, 1/5pot this super dynamic turn and then jams river?? I’m guessing none.
Villain had AJs or TT/JJ AND hero got lucky he didn’t run into KK/AA/AQ. People put way too much faith into “blockers” at live poker.
AJs in the muck most likely I guess.
Caller makes it 450......says he wants the guy to call? This guy is out to lunch. Imo either fold or make it 650 700
I'd like an invite to hero's game.
Pot committed. No way am I ever folding there. 🤦🏽♂️
"The 5 was the perfect turn to keep barreling"... 🙄
Board doesn’t change, he picks up equity, and unblocks all draws that call flop and fold turn that don’t pickup bdf. So, yes. Great card to barrel.
@@Eouseauctioneering They didn't say "great card to barrel", they said "perfect card"
@@terracottapieshut up man
@Eouseauctioneering so we are betting to make him fold his drawing hands? The problem with that logic is A high is beating them hands..so are we value betting/protecting or are we bluffing?
@matthewbrady3839 Merge multi purpose betting. Where you are value betting, protecting against draws, and bottom pair + draw, and where denying equity improvement, and where extracting value betting, if they have less and call on draw or nothing, or float, etc, and where semi bluffing, etc If they fold great. If they call good. You have outs, might be ahead, might hit the river, might be able to set up a triple barrel semi bluff, if nothing hits river, etc. There are multiple reasons, purposes to bet, all combined into a bet call a merge bet.
The tiny 5bet size OOP at this stack depth is just bad IMO. HJ 4bet range is gonna be linear everything could take a flop vs this size and play IP. The tiny 4b is good IP and OOP when you have to go that small to still be able to have bluffs that are not forced to call off bc of pot odds. IMO this is just fancy play getting horny over putting in more bets with the A5s. Imo this would be a fold in an online 1K NL 6m cash game where the regs are playing preflop close to perfectly. Not even close in a live cash game where even the best regs are way under 4betting. Think AK combos are enough bluffs to balance out your AA and KK combos and yes AK is a bluff in this narrow range spot pre.
Hi
The 5 bet is ridiculous....its a fold pre
Yet another "im so great at poker phone call" while getting extremely lucky..... guys we dont care about your horrible plays that get lucky....
kzread.infoHun9l3b_eeI?si=CUrGPmFkXGUxaWjO This is same hand from other perspective. Obviously the 2 guys mixed the card suits up a bit however it's exactly the same hand lol
Surely kk never folds to river bet
wtf is that sizing pre oop
Finally
I’m definitely folding river here unless it was a very specific situation
I am a tight-ish player that isn't afraid to lay down an over pair. But I would have to know a player is incapable of Bluffing to fold KK in this situation if I was the Vilain and I had Kings. I not folding Ace Queen either. But if I had Kings. I would have jammed the Flop.
What’s jamming on the flop accomplish? QQ is the only hand that might call that you beat.
@bdenver601 only QQ calls? Not true. Especially in low stakes. Ace Q is calling all day. All hands happen in a vacuum, so it's always impossible to say what a person would do. But low stakes players will call off with a lot of crap hands.
@@danielmeuler2877 AQ is calling a flop jam in a five bet pot on that flop?
