I'd blink twice & call it reconstructed, then a county inspector to prove me wrong. The fastest reconstruction in the west routine!

Couldn't you built a small pole barn to the side and attach your existing tiny home?

So for here, it's considered a permanent structure if you attach it to a basement foundation. Slab foundation doesn't count for some reason.

Damn I thought Cali was strict. We got people living in tons of makeshift houses. Sucks Tennessee is on your ass instead of focusing on improving the state.

Unbelievable! Oh my :; Brother You hit the nail on the head! Clayton Homes. I am praying for you both to be “allowed” to live in your home on your property. Freedom and The Pursuit of Happiness! I am so angry. But that doesn’t solve anything. Deconstruct? Pfft! Take photos and document that you have changed the front porch and add a few different windows. Done! Live in your home. Move in and forget about it. I’m sorry to say but someone from your KZread videos has probably caused this problem. Jealousy or just someone with nothing better to do than ruin other people’s lives. I am seriously so angry and sorry to hear this. Venting. I may delete this 🤷🏻‍♀️ My heart seriously breaks for you both. Praying for a solution.

Put up Purple Martin houses...several with multiple apartments. Each bird eats their weight in mosquitos. Build bat houses up under your eaves they also eat lots of mosquitos. Mosquitos won't) and on citronella plants but it doesn't kill them. King snakes are a valuable asset also. They are constrictors and immune to other snakes poison. They will remove and prevent copperhead infestation. They also are easy to handle

I've been brewing for about 40 years - from scratch, never used a kit, toasted and roasted my own malts, sprouted them etc. ( I do occasionally use crystal malt, especially when making a blond lager, but also for adding body and natural barley sugar for fermentation) - I'm traditional. I use glass carboys to ferment. A mash tun I made myself many years ago. I've also done barrel fermentation (risky. it can spoil). I'm partial to amber/red/toasted ales. Especially in the colder months, and I'm curious to know how that batch turned out. This is all an aside. You guys are great. You turned adversity into an asset in short order. And the 'shed' is beautiful. You're an inspiration.

If you truly want to live as free as possible in the “Corporate States of America” don’t advertise. I remember some KZreadrs houses getting raided for growing food in their front yard. It’s not so much the government as much as it is the corporations that pretty much own owe government that need the cash flowing. Whether it be oil, pharmaceuticals, processed foods, pesticides the list is endless. Imagine if we all grew our own food and shared with one another? If we helped one another build our own homes? Why are we really here for other than eachother and to enjoy ( not destroy ) the planet. Imagine how much healthier and happier we would be. Greed and trying to control people is just not sexy. It’s so old school and boring. Hope you two sweet people find away around the guys with the white curly wigs and powdered faces.

I would make it your garden shed or picnic area if that is allowed and build a simple legal box for sleeping and bathing and restroom whatever would meet the rules. You might get stuck with increased property tax. It does seem to go against one of Tennessee best selling points freedom. I plan to build on my lot before things change and I can’t for those with empty lots be sure to get your water meter and electric connection or may become a time it could get restricted?

The App.HistoryDetectives gives the answer. Also, the don't ask don't tell method works really well. But! you have let the cat out. Living in rural America means not letting everybody know your business. That's why most folkes go there to get away from nosey neighbors, and noisy neighbors. Good luck with the dream.

In 1994, here in Britain we had and are still living with something called the Criminal Justice Act, which essentially was a whole raft of anti-free-party, anti-protest, anti-hippy, anti-new-age-traveller laws, which has, amongst other things the action that nobody can legally live in a truck of bus on land, even land they have permissions to be on or infact own. Then, don't get me started on actually building something...

I don’t see how to leave a comment so I have to piggyback on yours. I’m sorry… I’m no expert, but I think all they would need to do is put footings below the frost line in bolt the structure to the footings then I don’t think it would be semi permanent. All you would have to do if you ever wanted to leave us unbolt the structure.
