We ONLY have 3 days...OFF-GRID Tiny Home Camper Renovations
It's getting cold and we are ALMOST ready to move into our renovated off-grid tiny home....but we don't have heat. This week we tackle a few remaining projects to get the camper move-in ready. This space is going to be a game changer for us here on the homestead! We celebrate our near milestone with a homemade pizza night cooked on our wood and gas Empava pizza oven.

Never once have I heard anyone say... "I wish I had a smaller sink." 🤷😷😘
I really enjoy your channel. The two of you look like a very happy couple.

Thank you so much! We really appreciate it - loving our life here!
You don’t see a couch being replaced by an older couch too often.
Hope yall are safe from the tornadoes last night. Love what you are doing. An amazing reuse of the travel trailer. Can't wait to hear about your garden plans.❤

You have to be able to smile through the hard times because at the end of the day their is nothing better than sitting back and looking at what you have created :)
Excited to see how you advance your dreams on this beautiful property. That is a very cool sofa with the wood. Color is perfect!
21:52 Nice Little Caesars reference.

Appreciate it!!!! The pizza came out great - excited to try a wood fire one!
Matt knows how to make pizza
See the fact that our bedroom wouldn't get much heat would be great because we like it a cooler when we sleep.
Can't wait to see how the winter goes with your diesel heater‼️
Eternabond is an RVers best friend. 😆
Y’all are just rockin an rollin 🤙🤙🤙
Who wouldn't want a fantastic pizza oven?🤩🤩🤩
Cool couch!! Stripes kinda match the outside of your new home! Goes great with your paint colors as well! Does the fiver have a name yet? Maybe Fifer.🤔🤔 Oh and Bubba is handsome baby!
Go get your couple cans flex seal and spray over the whole roof and you'll see the whole roof of the Travel trailer
That’s good living Rt there. God Bless
Love the pizza. Lol U guys r living my dream
You are SO RIGHT! Today’s furniture is incredibly uncomfortable, super poorly built and really quite expensive for what ya get. I LOVE retro furniture, as it lasts forever, is real wood and much more comfortable. Your choice in a sofa really looks great.👍😁
You will lose a lot of heat through the floor. If you underpin the camper and insulate the bottom side it will help a lot to keep you guys warm here in Tennessee .

Now that the camper is in its permanent home we will be doing that next!
Well done guys!!!
Good afternoon you guys hope you guys are having a wonderful day keep up the good work girl what are you guys going to go take out the window or all right well you guys have a great day and God bless you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Im with you on pizza matt, I could eat it every day and never get tired of it because here are so many different ways to make it. That oven looks very nice.
Hello from New Zealand, love watching your posts 😆😆
I make every effort to let the advertisements run (to support the channel). Do not know how many slots (?) you allowed (I jumped around on this one), but this is the first time I've encountered three ads in one slot anywhere. The view count doesn't produce a lot of income, so consider reconsidering. Good style. Sorry your "not on wheels' place had that loophole. Hindsight of rules was to protect the professional carpenters? Edit; in PA (and nj), if there is no foundation, it is not taxable like a regular house, or perhaps not at all.
Good video. Fun Times.
Those are pretty smart neighbors showing up for pizza 🍕but not for couch moving. 🤣Does diesel heater twerking work for every diesel heater? Where are the Christmas decorations?🎄I get way more work done in spring and summer just because there's more sunshine 🟡. Love the big sink, so useful.

Hahaha they told us to just let them know when we were doing it so they could give a hand but we wanted to give it a shot ourselves. We are actually putting up the Christmas decorations as I type this comment! Should see them in next weeks video 😉 and yes we can't wait till the days start getting longer again...a few more weeks!
Good job Matt awesome Cass you have good taste in furniture the pizza oven is cool love your videos never stop hope the heater works great for you both and no leaks Happy holidays God bless

Yes!!! 🍕
Another great show! Thanks
Your air inlet tube being outside will not recirculate the heated living area air, which raises the heat as it circulates. Outside air will remain constantly cold.
About the tiny house it's the size that matters otherwise you could set it on a foundation and that would make it a permanent structure
We use Henry Tropi Cool on the whole travel trailer. Home Depot purchase. Lasts 10 years.
Pizza, pizza, Pizza!!!
Thank you for sharing your experience
Love the couch Pizza looks delicious
Hope the tornadoes missed you! Fix the roof and add skirting before winter really hits!

Also, coating the roof with roof coat is the cheapest way to eliminate leaks!
Great job on the camper, it looks awesome! Awesome pizza making skills too! Thanks for sharing!
Great viedo,god bless,here in illinois❤
Great couch, pizza oven. Stay safe & warm ❤
Happy Spouse, Happy house Matt!!!
Awesome video, love watching your video's
The best window insulation covers I’ve made are: Reflectix (outside layer)/polycarbonate sheets (air flow layer/fleece. Spray glue together. Attach to window frame on the inside with 3M double sided stick Velcro. The fleece is inside in a decorative color that matches your vibe. I have bright yellow. I also use the polycarbonate sheets elsewhere for insulation, under bed, wall areas that are leaky. Also, insulation board, or at least plastic, around the undersides will make a huge difference. I’m going to do the diesel heater as you showed. I didn’t know about the moisture improvement over propane. Thanks.
I had brought some furniture from Rent-A-Center and the guys did that because they couldn’t get it through the front door they didn’t realize all they had to do is just take the legs off the couch but hey they took the window out they went and brought sealant put the window back in sealed it all back up and the couch now is in the house
Now that's the life...I'm up in Kentucky and making plans to do the same and enjoy life! Best of luck!!👍

We just drove through some parts of Kentucky near us the other day - some beautiful country! Best of luck! 🙌
I was wondering how you guys were doing with the tornadoes. They ended up being former East than originally thought. We were supposed to have the weather in Texarkana, but didn’t get anything. Hope all is well.
Camper looks great! My husband built me a clay wood fired oven for Christmas last year! Our own clay from our farm and recycled wood bricks and a pizza stone. We spent about $20 on sand and a few other things. We had pizza on Christmas day! Love my oven!!
cup and char pepperoni is the only way for pizza
Nice!
i have a little pizza oven and i also use it like a oven. making cookies, casseroles and even bake small hams in it. camper ovens are super tiny lol

That's so funny - we were talking with Blayne and Ness that night about potentially using it for other things! Happy to hear you've had success doing it - we'll give it a shot one of these days. Hope all is well!
Love the couch you two...great look. Ya'll are really killin' it and I'm very glad to get to watch your channel. Stay strong.
Take the skirt off of the couch it will look more modern
do you see the little round hole in the caulk gun? That is for removing the tip off of the tube of caulking.
Hi guys just re watching to catch up and two things comes to mind. First the couch reminds me Fraser father chair😊😂 second when Penny in Big band theory got the couch and sonething was moving in it.😂😊😅. Hope yours was fumigated before you bought it. Love the camper🎉👍👌
Exciting episode. Fix a camper leak and make pizza. Yikes! 🥱
Hope you guys r ok I heard about the tornado and the bad storms moving into your region. I live in SC and man were getting a lot of rain.
Just to let you know home depot and lowes sell roof repair for RV's it comes in a 1 gallon can you need 2 gallons it brushes and rolls on in the paint isle at those stores you brush around all the vents and then all around the outside and then you roll the rest in 2 coats good for 3 to 5 years very inexpensive used it on 3 of my projects so far so good
Big Pruners that can cut 3-inch logs, would help beautify the property and supply wood for a small wood stove. I love watching journey of Matt and Cass, it always makes me smile. SphereMotor, the future of electricity.
Just so you know, the original propane forced air heaters do not emit more moisture in the camper. If you have a wall blue flame heater then yes a lot of moisture will develop. If you have a propane forced heater the moisture goes out the exhaust . As for which is more fuel efficient, diesel stinks!
As someone who grew up in Buffalo, you definitely nailed the pepperoni assessment! Nothing like curled, slightly burned pepperoni! 🍕
I am glad you stayed on your homestead and finally brainstormed in buying your RV trailer. On building your new home, please use pressure treated lumber for the foundation joist and flooring. Also, do use pressure treated wood as the bottom base plate for all your walls. By doing so, you will have eliminated the potential threats of water damages and termite infestation. Now, how small or large you want your new home to be is totally up to you. What I can share with you is to focus on building a simple 400 square foot cabin. It will be cheaper to buld on a budget. With basic carpentry skills, you have your home built within 6 months to a year. Plus, you can easily build additional rooms adjacent to your existing walls. Since there are two of you working together, the process shall be at twice the labor building tempo. So expect to have your cabin up sooner rather than later. Best wishes!
One step. One day at a time. It’ll all come together. Although the destination is great. Man the setup and journey there is the funnest!
The new fire pit is AWESOME!
That sink is big enough to wash a baby in. 😉
You two are like the coolest people on earth. I like your style. WOOO~~
I have found a 2ft lattice around the bottom with removable foam sheeting is great for keeping a heat barrier for Idaho mountain winters. In the summer you put the sheeting down for air flow. We just tuck the foam under for summer. Might work for you. Great to find your vids.
Nice caulk!!!!🤣
You are so fun to watch.. you radiate joy. Thank you.
I also have recently moved to Tennessee the tornados missed us in the NW side, BUT I had you both on my mind when I heard it hit hard not sure where exactly you are in Tennessee but hope you made ith through safely.
Love, love, love the video!!! So glad you will be well-fed and warm and cozy! Blessings to you all from Oregon.
You’ve bought my grandparents, my in law’s,my first apartment’s couch. They don’t make ‘‘em like they use to know way a modern couch would last that long.
Born in Chicago live in Georgia, and I much more prefer New York style pizza . Please tell me how you made your crust??😂😂 It looks so bomb.
I love life up north ⬆️ from Michigan to Canada. The cabin is my peace. Fresh artisan water. Gravity feed water for dishes, washing etc. We do have propane lights and a stove and fridge that runs on propane. We fire up the fridge only in the hot summer when staying over a week. I stayed 21 days in a row and... The feeling of being disconnected was so beautiful. I'm planning on 30 days June to July as soon as I can stay and deal with the blood sucking black flies. Love watching your videos
Delicious 😋 you guys are the best and I’m so happy you have neighbors 👍🏽
I absolutely love your guys’ videos. Keep em coming. Much love from Nebraska! ❤❤
Jeez , and you wanted to live in a cool delivered tiny house... ha I'm 74 soon to get my 8th van...proud of all you do... yippi for you
Are you guys from Buffalo!? I’m born and raised about 10minutes outside of Buffalo. We definitely have some of the best pizza in the country hands down. Campers looking great. Keep up the good work
My camper also had a heated "under belly" to protect the water tanks. The manufacturer just stubbed out a piece of ducting into the underbelly with no cover to keep mice out. Mice got in. In the spring snakes went looking for mice. Snakes got in! I thought I was going to have to sell the camper to get my my back in it. Since we are no longer full time camping, I cut the ducting going to the underbelly and sealed the hole. No mice and no snakes. You live in the woods! they will find a way!
Should just put Henry’s Tropicool the whole roof. Stuff is amazing on any roof. Also skirt the camper will help a lot.
Hi from france. I love your videos. You re motivating me to renovate my mobilehome. Take care.
Hello!" Loving what your doing to your camper. Love that comfy looking couch. And like that pizza maker. Those pizzas look delicious. Stay safe and well.😊
You could always take some metal and go around the bottom and seal the bottom in. Put your little door to get to the heater. So you'll mold, you know where the heater is. And also you'll be able to open the door work on the heater. Fill it up with diesel and all that, but you need to take a engine a 1/2 phone. And screw to the inside of the metal, then put it up as a underpinning around the bottom of the trailer. And then you'll have a warm trailer underneath and inside and you won't have to worry about the water lines for using
You guys are great. I want toknow if theres fish in your streams. Love the pizza oven
You could buy the roof sealer they use on mobile homes and roll it on the whole roof to seal it
puff puff pass
Hope all is well with those tornados 🌪 I may have missed a video concerning the new house and what is happening with that. Will you be able to move in that one any time soon? You guys are so creative. Really enjoy watching
I was happy for a bit caz I thought you stopped including the intro explaining your background
Looking good. Are you adding on of those tiny wood stoves in the RV? That would be cool and help heat. But way cooler.
Be sure to plumb a return duct to the air heater it will heat faster and be more efficient.. My company installed 10+ Espar or Webasto’s each year on yachts (pre-Chinese days) and the return duct was key. Also order a muffler to put on the intake as it is equally as loud as exhaust an intake silencer works amazingly well…
if you want to clean the sofa , take a damp cloth and spray it with little 409, wipe over the sofa changing out cloth . That sofa was popular in the 70s, My ex is an upholsterer. Try 409 in hidden spot to check for colorfastness.
If you have an area on the property that you will eventually clear. Could you source poles to build a lean to roof over the camper? If you have the needed pole, all you would need then is tin. It would be a bit rustic but fit in well.
Have you thought about getting in touch with you Senator or Representative about the way they have their law is displayed in their laws. About the shards that can be made into a home.?
I build campers you have to just gob the caulking you can even use masking tape to tape of an area and add a thick line of caulking then pull the tape for nice line
I've considered a diesel heater but the pump noise, no thank you. My buddy heater is well built not convinced those Chinese heaters can hold up to steady use.
Happy wife. Happy life......Well. Happy Hubby or you get no Chubby😂😊
Someone else probably already mentioned it but if you add too much salt to a dish, add a little sugar until it's balanced. Salt is an important ingredient especially for baking, never leave it out.
When it starts raining good please let us know how the seal job went. I teach people how to restore old trailers on line and everything you did on the roof is exactly what I teach people NOT to do. Goop and sealant is only a temporary fix. To fix it right and permanently you just need to know how the metal skin system on a trailer works and then you can address the leaks properly and fix them permanently without any goop at all. But most people who are unknowledgeable about these things just resort to tons of goop.
Smart man! Keep her happy, took me a while to learn that when she ain't happy, ain't nobody happy... Windows are an easy seal, the roof might get more involved because the water will travel out of sight. Fortunate that you had a couch sized window... I suspect you will need a second heater, for adequate circulation if nothing else. If the original heater fan was working, maybe not. We live west of Nashville, and we get a few near zero nights most winters, so you likely will also. A small wood heater might be a good idea. We will be headed to Knoxville for the week after Christmas, but don't know if we like NY style pizza. FYI, Memphis BBQ pizza is excellent... 😎

Will you be putting a skirt around the bottom of the camper to keep the cold weather from going up to the floor, and keeping critters out ?
Oh to be young...
