Bea Jonite

Hi there, I’m Bea! I’m an Oxford University master's Graduate in Diplomacy, Latvian gender equality and human rights activist, and simply a politically involved young woman.

I made this channel when I was a 15-year-old kid, and there's a lot of content that doesn't represent me or my interests at the present time, but I've kept most of the uploads here simply as a personal growth video diary :)

Tas īstenībā ir skumji, ka no 164000 abonentiem tikai pāris tūkstoši ir noskatījušies šo video, kas, manuprāt, ir gana interesants un analītisks. Žēl, ka neturpināji publicēt šāda veida saturu, bet to var saprast - tas prasa ļoti daudz laiku.

So it’s true that Russians don’t really speak English. Only few people speak English there.

This is absolutely spot on, but the tinfoil conspiracy theory lunatics and pseudo-intellectual contrarians keep repeating the "8 years of Donbas" garbage, JUST to be "against the MSM narrative". Thank you for explaining what ACTUALLY happened.

Awesome! The more I learn about politics and the affairs aand happenings around the globe, the more conservative I become! There is no bigger threat that the decomposition hung and degradation of the traditional nuclear family! One father, one mother! As a gen Z, my girlfriend and I have become more traditional over the years, and are planning on having kids who will change the world for the better! The pendulum will return and traditional conservative values shall triumph!

12 years ago we were in Cyprus with my sister. We sat in a bar, and there was an amateur singer there. He saw us and started insulting us right into the microphone because he assumed we were Russian… he thought we did not look properly and we’re not enough expensively dressed.. on multiple other occasions I felt it too, even on the part of foreigners who came to Russia to work and not only abroad..the anti Russian sentiment has been around for years, right after Soviet Union fall, it did not appear because of this war, or because of Georgian war, etc.. it has nothing to do with the Kremlin…when the Kremlin was USA puppet in 1990 Russians were hated just the same…the Russophobia has nothing to do with that, it is like hating and discriminating Jews, the sentiment has the same roots. This is Nazism, and the western world is okay with it. Btw Latvia plans to deport all people with Russian passport and had not given a passport to people whose parents lived there and who were born there, come on, no discrimination?? Just lies.

As an American I think the Russophobia in this country has reached hysteria! America has a history of Russophobia dating at least back to the 1st world war and we endured the last hysteria during the 50s with McCarthy and his ilk! Anti communists have been part of our security state for over 100 years! J Edgar was spying on suspected communists in mass! One would have hoped being allies against the Nazi's would have brought our two countries together but hard liners in the US have contempt and hatred for Russia and are bent on Russia's demise! They talk of Russian aggression and imperialism! The hypocrisy is staggering! The US is the most aggressive empire on earth with our military adventures all over the globe! Russian aggression is a drop in the bucket compared to the US! I have good will towards Russia and wish them peace and prosperity!

We should not hate people just for being Russian, speaking Russian or because they feel themselves part of the Russian culture. Russia has a right to exist, as such, as any other ethnic group and nation. But we and they have to do our and their best to fight Russian imperialism, aggression, Putinism, the "system" and leadership, ideas of a "Russkij Mir" or "Novorossija" or new Soviet Union. A free, reborn, modernized Russia has to be a truly democratic society, that wishes no harm done to other sovereign nations, that actively mends what has been broken around it and solely has limited defence capabilities to protect its own terrority against attacks- no nuclear or other non-conventional weapons, no offensive forces, no militaristic ideology ... If Russians define themselves as "free Russians", that will actively want to work against the terrible "version" of Russia, that exists today and aim to restore their nation's reputation, I think they deserve our support and help. So in case you are Russian, the choice is simple: either you ride Putin's train to whereever it ends. Fine, but then I don't like you. Or you define yourself as a "Free Russian" and do your best to be the counter image to the Russia we see today, and I think we can talk and be friends. A nation, culture, nationality can be terribly misused, as it has also happened with the German people during the Third Reich Nazi regime, 1933-45. Denmark has had its own lack of sympathy against Germans, especially due to 5 years of WW2 occupation, but today we have a normal and friendly relationship with modern Germany. The same should be the case with Russia if and when there are enough Russians willing to liberate their nation. Greetings from Denmark 🇩🇰🇺🇦 (and "Free Russia"-flag - it appears to exist, but not as an icon on my phone)
