Hi! Im glad you ended up uploading this video it feels really real. I came from your moving in video as I was looking for advise for moving in with my boyfriend (not that is actually happening but... You know... In México we are still living in quarantine and there is too mucv free time to think) and I also wanted to tell you that you should be really proud of yourself, we are about the same age and it seems to me that you have at least twice as much life experience as I do, you hace traveled and managed to mantain yourself, you probably grew a lot and you seem to be very succesful. So cheer up! I am an unemployed designer, living with my mom and treated like im 3 y o, in my country my profession is not valued at all... Any way I Just wanted to say that I really liked your video, and I hope you do more in the future. Greeting from the other side of the World!

Would you consider creating a video about how to find a job in the public sector? While still working on my bachelor's degree in European Studies I have been wondering about the job opportunities and how to start looking. And I would love to see a beginner's guide from you. Another thing I was thinking about is your experience in learning in a different language. Maybe some tips how to prepare yourself, courses you took to improve your language skills? Basically how did you prepare yourself and how hard the whole uni experience was. Congratulations on getting into Oxford, so happy to see you back on KZread again!

Thank you so much! My path has been quite unusual, as I am a political employee, not a civil servant - so the procedure in my case was more of an invitation into the teams from the officials in higher positions (I didn't have to go through an application/selection process)! But I'll think about it, since I'm quite familiar with the system on almost all levels!

I don't exactly know about in how many languages Bea speaks, but Latvian is her native tongue, her family speaks Russian, and English is taught in schools. Moreover, she studied the IB programme, so she even had the experiemce of studying in English. In terms of other languages, there is a chance that she studied German in school as her second foreign language (I assume she would not have chosen Latvian), so she probably speaks at least 3.5 languages not having attended any courses whatsover :)

Not really, but the self-isolation evenings after work were long and plenty to create something once in a blue moon :)
