    Hi Wyeth, would love to see a follow up honest video on how you are doing several months after the course? Have you still continued the meditation? Do u see the benefits slowly fading? What has changed in your life since the course? Are you planning another one? Thanks so much in advance!

    Western man is venturing further and further away from his christian heritage. You will find nothing but demons outside of christ and they will take control of you in ways you will not understand. True mysticism and hesychasm is found in the Orthodox Church.

    Lots confusion. Its not rooted in buddhism due to the vegetarian diet, it is part of the 5 precepts(no killing). Buddha was a scientist , not a buddhist, never in any of the ancient Dhamma scriptures is budhism mentioned. Goenka didnt create the 10 day courses, his teacher Sayagi Uba kin did that.

    Wyeth, thanks so much for sharing your experiences with us. Reading your post has come at a perfect time for me. I sent off my application two weeks ago and yesterday received an email saying the enrollment had been filled and I was on the waitlist. My reaction was completely calm and my mind immediately began looking forward to increasing my meditation time at home, practicing more lengthy periods of sitting cross-legged and spending more time in silence. I don't know what the future will be but I plan on packing my bag and being as ready as possible if and when I'm accepted into a Vipassana course. All the best to you in your future endeavours and congratulations on starting your online community. Love & Blessings.

    Hello! I used to be a Christian for a while and have now turned spiritual. I am just going to list a major tips and advice I have learned through a proper study of Eastern spirituality. There is not a single doubt that they have mastered these spiritual arts already ( either via self-introspection techniques or relying on divinity through both the Right and Left hand paths for awakening; both are effective if done correctly). After studying the methodologies of the yogis however, I think it is important to understand the path of seeking the truth through rigorous self-effort can be dangerous. Once we progress to the higher stages one needs to have a competent ( not fake ) guru that has accomplished mastery of a given path or technique. This is vital because it is essential to determine when our mind is playing tricks on us vs when we are actually experiencing things from a higher dimension or our-inner self. Supposedly, for beginners our mind plays lots of tricks and we like to think we are super-special and getting enlightened when in reality we are not there just yet. A guru who has done a 100 hours and has a yoga certificate is not a guru. Do not trust social media fools. There are cases where people have chanted beeja mantras under the initiation of a fake guru, and they eventually have started having experiences that the guru could not help guide them through. It is important to approach spirituality with skepticism, but also with blind faith. Additionally, the intention is extremely important. Some say they want to know their deeper self and have a spiritual transformation, in reality they do not. Instead, they want power and the abilities that come as a side effect of spiritual mastery. It is specifically stated in the texts, that if one's greed for something is deemed too much by nature they will get disciplined. This is where the negative experiences start happening. What are these negative experiences? Ghosts and negative entities. For a period of time, these beings will actually give what you want. Later however, you will fall into a state much worse than what you began with. So before entering into any practice, make sure you contemplate on your intention. Do you truly want the truth? Or do you want the power that comes with it? If its the power, its best you stay away because you WILL FALL and you will not get back up so easily. Honsetly, in the modern time it is best to rely on divine grace rather than looking inwards with no premise to go off and lack of technique. I would suggest one should study and develop love and taste for the supreme energies and elements: Shiva, Mother kaali, Bhairava, or Hanuman. They can help eviscerate any demonic threats and dangerous things that may interfere with your spiritual progression. Also, it feels good to have a relationship with a force/energy that is beyond both time and space ( yes these things are actually energy, there is not actually a 4-armed god sitting up there in the upper-realms that is a misconception; the image or depiction of these elements into form has happened in order for one to get a better understanding of the nature of the energy they wish to worship and have a connection with). If you choose this path and you are a complete beginner, I would say start with basic mantras ( Om Namah Shivaya). This one is extremely powerful but also simple and is safe to chant. Beeja mantras on the other hand are more dangerous without proper guidance. These are simple, but the sound emitted causes a seed to be planted in you. Chanting a beeja mantra of someone extremely powerful like Mother Kaali will put her seed of energy into you. The question is can your body take that energy or not. Nothing is negative, if it you can handle it. However if you cant handle it, then it becomes a problem. Therefore, without diksha or initiation do not get ahead of yourself and start chanting beeja mantras. More on this path of mantra worship ( extremely effective in the modern age) can actually be learnt be watching the Ranveer Show Podcast (TRS) with the guest Rajashri Nandy. Reply to this comment if you got questions.

    I've been a Ken Wilber fan for nearly 30 years. I have two precautions for vertical development models. 1. It's when the chips are down that you really know where you're at functionally. Understanding 2nd tier doesn't mean you're at 2nd tier. 2. Greed, vanity, and envy will be right beside you all the way up the spiral.

    I feel that it would be traumatic to do this considering that I may see reality as fluid and no sense of anchor like I did when I had schizophrenia once I go deep. Think twice before trying because reality will feel different permanently after doing this.

    Based on what you’ve said of the infinite game in this video and in your other video, it sounds like a less positive version of the teachings of Flawlessism, which is a philosophical religion I highly recommend you research given your interests.

  • @Echogem222
    @Echogem222Ай бұрын

    I’m honestly impressed you’ve come so far at the age of 23, but your views are still lacking in refinement, and they’re overly eager to achieve something instead of to accept life. Don’t get me wrong, I see it as positive for you to be eager, so long as you balance it with acceptance, but this will happen with experience and time. You seem to be centering your spirituality with Eastern Philosophy based on what you said in this video and in previous videos, which is fine, but you might learn a thing or two by researching the philosophical religion, Flawlessism. This is just the thoughts of a 32 year old though.

    Your reasoning is flawed. Your argument implies that those who do not follow your advice will and should feel miserable, that near the end of their lives they should be filled with regret, but to regret what has already happened is to reject reality and accept delusion. Now this is not to say that people shouldn’t change for the better, but that they should do so not through regret, but through acceptance, by using their negative experiences as a push off point for better things, like this, “In the past I was stuck on social media in the worst of ways, but I realize now that it wasn’t wrong for me to do that, it just wasn’t ideal, and through experiencing that misery to the degree I did, that misery pushed me away from it, to a better place, but for misery to do that means that misery isn’t wrong, it’s just part of my journey that I now accept”. In other words, people near their death should seek acceptance instead of regret to find peace, that even if a person messes up their life that badly, they should still be able to die in peace. Make sense?

    No one can tell you the truth? To be right of this is to know truth and thus have no reason why you cannot tell others truth. I do agree that the majority of people in this world do not know truth since if they did everyone would already know it, and I also think it requires faith given the uncertainty of everything, but I do not believe it is correct to say that the truth must always be found on your own. I’m not trying to invalidate your spiritual experience, I do think you were being honest in the video, but I don’t believe you were analyzing your experiences correctly given the lack of consistency in understanding how truth works. In the modern era and in the distant past many have claimed to have found truth they then shared with others, only for many to disagree. But just because this has happened so much does not mean truth must be found on your own. In other words, you have said that truth must be found on your own, but you did not give sufficient reasoning for myself or others to reasonably believe it. You experienced something very spiritually positive, I believe this, but to me it only scratches the surface given your lack of explanation of truth.

    You’ve made a lot of meaningful progress in your journey through life, but it’s still lacking in depth. Those big questions you feel like just can’t be answered actually can. Everything you’ve said in this video causes me to think you have full compatibility with the atheist philosophical religion named Flawlessism. I am actually the founder of that religion which took me years to create through a process of trial and error, and even if errors are found in the future, they can be fixed because of the way Flawlessism is, which is a religion which evolves through trial and error. I go out looking for people on the net like you, people who actually think deeply about life as you do because I’ve noticed that such people become more easily committed to following the path of Flawlessism. But due to Flawlessism being like that, it’s a slow growing community you’ve probably never heard of. Even if you decide not to believe in Flawlessism, I believe just learning of it will reduce the amount of time you’ll need to take on your journey in fully understanding the point of life, but the choice is yours.

    It's your self concept that we don't have freedom. You can't give up on selfishness, because you assume someone can be perfect, and seek utopia, the communist death trap. If you think everything is a social construct you reintroduce narcissistic detachment from truth, the heart of postmodernism. Postmodernism is a philosophical narcissism that injects gaslighting language and false victim narratives that takes advantage of follower mind sets. Follower mind sets yet add another level of detachment from truth... Truth and love are the same thing, detaching truth from people experience is detaching love as well.

    Congratulations for producing an excellent video. I wish, I would have had the chance to reach your level of consciousness already in your age range. My journey for reaching similar perspectives was full of detours and took me many decades longer. I assume that this is an indication of the now quite fast cultural evolution of humanity towards a higher level of consciousness in more and more individuals.
