Hope Darrel gets to feeling better. Thank you for taking the time to make your videos. It’s nice to see a family working together
Why do you need the fertilizer tank with all of the manure that was spread? I have never heard of that before. Manure has been the only fertilizer used in the past for that season as far as I have known.
Most manure won’t have a nitrogen content above 3%. Anhydrous ammonia which is in the tank is in 30-40% nitrogen.
Always enjoy watching your video's!
Cows are Gone WITH THE WIND!! UFOS reported, Flying Cows ,four legged kind!!😂🇨🇦
Kendall love your videos but don’t understand why you guys don’t fix your lot so it don’t get that muddy EVERY year. It would have to be better for the cattle to stay on dry ground. Can’t you put some drain tile in.
Pieter has a twin, who knew!! LOL!
Thise girls are tanky
Woo I didnt know you were going to maine Well , welcome!
Ha Ha...remember I'M ALWAYS WATCHING YOU!!!!
Great to get the pairs out to pasture. The grass there looks good. Thanks for the video.
They all look good after so much rain. Thank you for sharing.🐂
Them heifers look darn good. A couple of them are a little high in the flank but they are all nice and square with good condition I’m sure they’ll drop down once they are heavier bred.
We have gotten a lot of rain in SouthDakota too
always a good day when ya get em turned out
Another great video Kendal Their was so much rain this winter/spring you couldn't but have mud hopefully it'll all dry up We're having the same here wettest winter and spring and its not much better now its raining every second day hoping july will bring some sun Really enjoyed the video as always looking forward to the next one Best wishes from Ireland 🇨🇮

so wonderful beautiful video my best friends i love it see so nice
Your modular system works great. But man is that yard wet. Hope it dries out. Thanks for the video.
Perhaps more slope on cattle pens would help for drainage. Perhaps a tractor wash? Always good to hear your progress. Thanks for effort to film!
As you say, never a shortage of work. Thank you for sharing.🐂
Portable is only way to go. Just move everything if it gets too muddy
Time to hire a professional window cleaning company so you don't run over your moo moo's !
Lol I know it didn't make for a nice view... but we are so wet it's darn near impossible to keep them clean.
another great video!
Good luck with the drainage of those ditches. Thank you for sharing.🐂
Hopefully your feed lot at home can start to dry soon. Great you found some good pasture for them. Cows and calves are looking good. Thanks for the video. Enjoyed it,
Good Job!!
Love the videos keep them coming! Interested to see what's up with the heifer
Beautiful sky! Less rain less mud. Good luck with the deconstruction of the panels. Thank you for sharing.🐂
Wow!!!! Lots or water everywhere…….Lots calves are absolutely gorgeous!!!!!
Hello I really enjoyed this video, I have been trying to spot the three M
We had a cow that went way past her due date and when she finally calved it was deformed and dead. I guess the calf has to emit cortisol to start the process. If the calf is not viable it can't do that. Hopefully all goes well with your hefer.
I was worried it had mummified. Something didn't seem right
Has she had it yet?
Would she be bagging up if calf is dead?
Maybe. The calf still could be alive in the cow but have something wrong with it and won't make it. Who knows it could be fine
You think thats alot of water we got 5.50 inches 15 miles from here they got over 9 inches roads are washed out
Ya lots of areas have been getting pounded this spring.
Wow lotza rain Where do u guys live in manitoba?
Elm Creek, South of Portage
My home farm was north of Neepawa
Another good day and you did have great company. Bet that was a treat! Thanks for the video, enjoyed it.
Hoping that water runs away pretty quickly and you have little or no re-seeding. Thanks for the video.
Great you beat the rain. Thanks for the video.
You guys are sure taking a bath over there. South of weyburn we’ve had 1” total for June
I think we are close to 11 inches this spring.
@@TwinElmFarms 4.5” here
Well you might have been done seeding but I don't think you are anymore...reseed pound in some oats for green feed or silage
Been surprised how the crops have taken the rain.... but it needs to stop
@TwinElmFarms get ready more on the way...we are under a severe storm watch/warning...im east of regina
How long do you think it will take for the water to drain out? Thanks for the video.
It drained within a 5 days... until the next rain shower came.
WOW!! That's an amazing amount of water in the fields. Hopefully you won't get any more rain anytime soon. Looks like spraying is going to be a nightmare. Have you ever done any aerial spraying in the past? Best of luck...
The rain just won't stop... typically they don't aerial spray herbicides, to much risk of killing neighbors crops. Fungicides aerial spraying we get done yes.
Will that much water wash out your freshly seeded fields? I hope not
No the freshly seeded will probably do better then the stuff that is just coming out of the ground
Great Job!! That sure brings back memories!
Glad you finished planting. Enjoy the big fields with wide open spaces. With some weather luck the banker will be happy fella! Enjoyed the footage.
Congrats on getting done 👍👍
Shouldn't you have had the field tilled one more time to get all that green weeds out of the ground? It looked like those tiny canola seeds would get crowded out by those weeds. It looked like there were lot of weed patches in the field. Since you are trying to beat the rain, did you think the canola could manage to sprout and get through those green weeds? No one plants that in NY that I know of. Seen Sandy & Mark Brock planting it, & Sandy used a joker to work up their ground to break up soil & weeks. I never heard of a joker, so don't know it looks like or exactly what it does to the ground. Your huge equipment makes what my dad used - look like toys.. That was 60 - 65 years ago. Your fields are as big as entire farms were in Central NY. We were like 5 hours from The Big Apple.
Our heavy land where we seed canola, we can not work in spring. The odd time guys will harrow to dry it out. Canola can come through that.
I like your calf bed, so mommy can't eat it ha ha and poo and pee on it, little ones need a nice bedroom
They go where want, even when it makes no sense.
At least calf found the restroom, nice and warm😅😅😅
Gorgeous ears really cute. ❤❤❤
How much does a cesarean cost?
I believe they are 600
