  A piece of constructive criticism for me is if you could reduce the background noise, I think it would make the overall audio of you talking which is the bulk of the video more clear. Clean whip, I’m saving up for an e55 as well 🌊🌊

  Great stuff here! I was watching your steering wheel install. Please tell me how you connected your aftermarket head unit so that the controls on the steering wheel operate your radio. I have one of those Android head units. I could not determine what canbus wires I needed to connect to use my steering wheel controls. My steering wheel is the factory wheel.

  Hello, thanks for the great video. I am currently replacing my fuel pump and filter to my SLK 200. I'm having an issue reconnecting the sender plug which is located at the bottom of the black box that houses the pump. Could you please advise the easiest way raise the box to gain access to connect the plug. Much appreciated.Thanks, Kelvin

  Yes it will, switching the airbag cover connectors is only need to get the airbag to eork

  Hey Panzer , i recently bought a fuel filter fot my SLK 55 amg R171 2005 , just as yours , but it aint OEM , i think its chinese , the part where the connector is supposed to go is sealed in mine , in contrast with the oem one. Any suggestion of what can i do ?

  I would highly recommend returning the part, acquiring a oem brand(fcp euro) will have it in stock and a good price

  ​​@PANZERSGARAGE Hello again after years. I am on the way to change the chain tensioner and remembered your modification with the silencer. Did all went good? Because I have taken out the Eaton and changed oil and now I look on this silencer. what happens to your compressor after years? still going good? hope you have time to answer. I will do it this weekend. What do you recommend for cranking only the engine until the oil pressure push the new tensioner in place? Greetings from Sweden. Still snow, so that's why I make my Saxon ready for the summer.

  Kompressor is still good. I have owned 2 02 c230 ks with the m111 engine. Years of use with no problems. I did rebuild the SC after 140k miles on one of them. It doesn't reduce the life of your kompressor. Only miles will do that lol

  You forgot very important things , is a two different types of the silver key some of them got one battery and same got two battery. Looks everything the same but you can fit the electric stuff inside.

  Question: some after market radio’s ensure this canbus keeps working(at least steering wheel controls) does that automatically mean the door will also still work?

  Yes & yes. A proper aftermarket with a cannus module.

  Quick question 🤔 could the radio be rebooting because I used cig lighter for constant and accessory. Why can't I use the og constant and ground? Are you sure it will drain battery I did away with fiber got 2 amps now new door speakers and all canbus works but I do have to solve this rebooting thing. Xtron thinks it's canbus I don't because canbus seems to be working idk what do you think

  Well I followed your lead on my w211 xtron everthing and jlaudio amps and door speakers. Xtron unit keeps rebooting when driving what you think it is. Canbus is working steering controls and door ajar on screen. Need your help last step what do you thing big dog

  If you have the button feature, you should be a plug n play by using the button. The only thing that needs to be coded is if you lock the car, the mirrors fold in n fold out when you unlock.

  Yes it can, as the c class also uses canbus. Tho the steering column might need a little mod to have it 100%

  Are you referring to the cover that folds up with 2 triangular pieces folding out? Its a simple process as the cover is only operated by cables when the roof retracts or closes. Im located in El Paso TX
