I built something like this, but instead of attractions as a side strategy I done food but man this makes me want a second squirrel deck
Basalt monolith can give you infinite mana with forensic gadgeteer
Another combo is Basking Broodscale and Ghost Lantern. Equip the Broodscale with the lantern activate his adapt and you can generate infinite tokens and colorless mana and if you have any zulaport cutthroat you will just win

If K'rrik gets removed twice or more, you can let it hit the graveyard and reanimate it as a last-ditch effort.
K'rrik is a pretty good commander. But it can be easy defeat, even by himself. However, one thing in this video is that it makes me confused: combo Chainer+Merchant. According to the Chainers' text, we should pay 3 black and 3 life, so it means that we should pay 9 lifes total. Isn't it right?
This is correct. If you use K’rrik to pay for the black pips, it’ll be nine life total paid for each cycle.
Shadow in the Warp reduces cost of your first creature per turn by 2 generic, and it hits opps for 2 when they cast their first non-creature spell per turn (synergizes with life totals strat). It's a decent fit.
I really enjoy playing this deck, and your tips were found very helpful in picking which commander I should use and cards that would be replaceable. I look forward to learning more about this deck in later videos! THANKS
I took this deck, toned down the surveil mechanic to focus on mill/reanimate strategy using Phenax as my commander. And it's diabolical.

One card that I believe is currently going under the radar for these style of decks is Spymaster's Vault Land Enters tapped unless you control a swamp T: Black B, T: Target creature you control connives X, where X is the number of creatures that died this turn. Connives: "Draw X cards, then discard X cards" This ability with Shilgengar is nuts for filling up the graveyard fast and also that fact that its a land that will filter your hand is crazy value. Its also only about $1-2 and will slot in for a swamp.
One quick note for everyone. Thief of Blood will not remove all the finality counters if it was brought back by Shilgengars ability at the same time as everything else. It will only remove the counters from the creatures that were present before Shilgengars ability was activated. Scenario 1: Shilgengar on the battlefield with nothing else. Thief of Blood and Gray Merchant in the GY. Activating Shilgengars ability will result in a Thief of Blood and Gray Merchant entering and both having a finality counter. Scenario 2: Shilgengar and a Gray Merchant with a finality count. Thief of Blood in the GY. Activating Shilgengars ability will result in a Thief of Blood having a +1/+1 counter + finality counter and Gray Merchant with NO finality counter. This is because Thief of Blood is a replacement effect, "as it enters the battlefield", referring to before it enters. Hope this helps.

I love Bess! For generating mass tokens "Launch the Fleet" works escpecially well in Bess, since it creates seperate triggers, so Bess also gets buffed multiple times. The token also enter attacking and can be immediatley buffed by Bess, to create a surprisingly fast lethal attack. Another card i want to recommend because it just fits perfectly in Bess is "Storm the Seedcore" which in this deck is the best and cheapest overrun effect there is.
My Nin the Pain Artist is all about infinite mana as fast as possible. Mostly things that combo with Phyrexian/Ashnod's Altar like Su-Chi + Nim Deathmantle, Myr Turbine + Dross Scorpion, and Firestorm Phoenix + Deathrender. Also have more conventional combos like Power Artifact + Basalt Monolith and Pili Pala + Grand Architect. Finally I also run Temple Bell + Mind Over Matter + Library of Leng for another finisher. Freed from the Real and Pemmin's Aura are must haves so that I can draw out each opponent in the same turn or on their upkeep. Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir and Arcane Laboratory keeps my opponents from being able to react. My hometown meta had a ton of mill resistant decks that featured the vintage Eldrazi titans, this was my answer.

just blink all the reanimated creatures counter gone...and question as the Commander is Black and white and the Malakir Bloodwitch has protection from white it could not be targeted in the graveyard, can it?
Protection from 'X' and other abilities only function while the card is in play on the battlefield. 402.8. Abilities of an instant or sorcery usually function only while the object is on the stack. Abilities of all other objects usually function only while that object is in play. Their are a couple of exceptions, but they don't apply here. See 402.8a-i for more info
This guys slides in as either secret commander or alternative commander for BW Rodolf Blood deck, similar idea of using blood to fill the yard with angels and vamps. Its like wizards new what i was brewing.
thank you for this video. mairsil is my favorite commander due to the ridiculous amounts of ways you can build the deck. sadly currency converter and bag of holding don't work with mairsil since their abilities are linked. this deck is absolutely bonkers if you build it with a ton of looting effects, one of the best among them is civilized scholar, since it usually untaps itself. endling is amazing because when combined with cards like glen elendra archmage or bloodfire colossus/kagemaro, first to suffer and crystalline crawler it kinda softlocks the game. skywing aven and cavern harpy work both as protection and to recast mairsil. mausoleom wanderer and kozilek, the great distortion work great as control options. and i'm particularly fond of trench behemoth and cinderhaze wretch as "free" untappers to keep abusing tap abilities like galecaster colossus.
This was a fantastic deck tech! Your explanation of how Shadowheart and the background interact was great. Thank you for the video, a version of this deck will be the next thing I make.
Correction to the list at 1:03, Kindred("tribal" before the errata) does count as a card type as well. I don't think there are any Kindred cards that are worth playing with Loot, but I thought its worth mentioning.

Clavileño's ability wouldn't work because the finality counter is a replacement effect exiling the creature rather than dying

I don't get the clue creation. I only got one real clue token in the deck. Are we supposed to use dice or something?
You can. There usually is ten double sided tokens, but I don’t know what other tokens they included. You can use anything to represent the tokens. I get into the habit of collecting additional token cards to use, since my token decks have a lot of different token types to keep track of. Infinitokens is a good option too.
I love dreadhorde invasion, however it does specify that it’s only zombie tokens on the card and not just any zombie with power 6 or greater. Still a good card though!
I would really like to build the deck, but fear that it will be very repetitive and boring to play because you only tutor for the combo pieces, how does krrik feel to play?
It is a little bit streamlined compared to most Commander decks, but you can sometimes go into different combo lines for the varied games.
What would u say is the power lvl of this deck?

removing dream eater even though it gives mirko 4/4 in a single card and then can be reanimated for a total of 8/8?.. idk. sure its high cost but when i play this deck i feel like getting this card really helps my board presence
I'm really excited for the bloom borough deck. My chatter fang deck is also my favorite deck. It's going to be hard to make cuts for the new cards. I wonder how many will be worth including. I wonder how many cool alternate art cards there will be.....
Regarding Eerie Interlude and Finality counters: You sure it works that way? The effect of finality is a replacement effect that triggers on leaving the battlefield and exiling meets the condition of leaving the battlefield. Will Eerie Interlude see those creatures? They are not exiled by Eerie Interlude but by the finality effect right? I will check on Judge discord and come back. Edit: Finality triggers on creature dying only so my assumption was incorrect to begin with. Eerie Interlude works perfectly fine with finality counters.
The finality counters only impact the destination when the creature is dying, not so much their being exiled. I might not have been clear.

I am very excited for Bria as an Izzet gamer. Not so much as a commander but a really cool piece in the 99 for either My Stella Lee or Narset. Also I think she is kind of redundant with elusive otter but flavor wise is such a good combo

This commander brings back the nostalgia of magic. Angels and demons, mechanics that make sense, not cedh but just a good time. Awesome video as always!
This definitely has that old school legend vibe. I like that it's not a two drop with immediate combo potential, but a five drop that can make an explosive turn. I hope they explore this space some more with some upcoming sets.
With the persist combo you have in here you should add Murderous Redcap.
There is a blue mythic phyrexian horror creature in all will be one(i cant remember the name) that says, every time you proliferate, you proliferate twice instead)
Those who buy this deck should have foamy the squirrel as required listening material.
Mh3 is supposed to have a new aristocrat that also gives you a token when it comes into play. So if you use this new aristocrat with plunderer you don't have necessarily need tokens to start the loop. While chatterfang is fun and uber fast, unfortunately it's very exposed to interaction with only 1 card for protection. The deck tends to draw a lot of attention from other players, making life very tough for old Chatterfang. This is why the 100+ dollar combo in earthcraft and squirrel nest is very nice. Because its hard to interact with.
Me: Where's the Peregrin Took and kitty combo?? Where's your Skeletal Swarming?? Where's the freaking Vraskas??
These are really good options (entirely blanked on Skeletal Swarming), but I worry that the new precon will try to do something different enough from Chatterfang that a token aristocrat strategy won't mesh with the new cards. I'll definitely make an update to this as we close in on Bloomburrow.
Thanks for this video. I’m getting back into MTG after a very long time because Bloomsburrow looks so good so this was really interesting to watch.
I'm a bit bittersweet on this, when I found Chatterfang to make a brawl deck for my "dailies" on Arena, I had a blast, the theme was squirreles and zombies (now squirrels and rats from WoE), this deck seems to probably bring all the staples one could need for commander, but now I feel these deck and set will bring so many updates and new squirrel staples that'll make golgari squirrels even more common instead of a fun adition to a pool. How do you feel being a Squirrel Specialist ? Do we have enough squirrels to bring diversity to deckbuilding ? (we didnt before but there arent that many people playing squirrels as there will be with a precon). Im still happy to see what we will have and the whole set seems very sweet. Great video thou! I didnt know you liked squirrels and will keep my eye on for new videos!
My current build does lean into some changelings to supplement the squirrels, but I would gladly welcome more actual squirrel creatures. I would hope that the main set would introduce some squirrels that the precon deck either doesn't include or doesn't need. We've gotten a few white Squirrels in the last few years, and I think the design space they're looking at might give alot of new tools, for the casual ends and the competitive ends of the Squirrel strategy.
Grafdiggers cage doesn't work to shut the mimeoplasm down. It only prevents creatures from entering from the graveyard or cards being cast from the graveyard. Since mimeoplasm exiles the cards and then enters as a copy, this can still happen even when there is a grafdiggers cage on the battlefield. I still run it in my deck to hate on my opponents graveyards 😃
