32:10 TIP: No need to go through the middle of small plots. Pipes need to go through the middle of Large plots, but can run between two small plots. Think of Large plot as a 2x2 (when switching on the grid) and as long as it runs the same way through the middle when using 4 small plots in 2x2 layout (or 2 small plots in a 1x2 layout) it will work.

Just thought I'd add this tip, because I found it so so helpful, early game, hope you don't mind. But when you take the time to forage that first night when the clock stops, don't just work the town, go all over the whole map. It takes a lot of time but I managed to gather enough berries of both types, chestnuts, fiddlehead ferns, seaweed of both types, to sell the next day and made almost $3k. But one important thing is to start at one end of all beach areas and go down the whole thing. Equip your bucket and you can click lmb to squat and gather, which will give you sand every time, but also a ton of recycleable plastic and metal scraps. Before you go back to your plot to end your day, stop at the recycling machines on the side of the Tech Hero building and drop all the plastic in one and all the metal in the other. It doesn't cost anything and it will be ready the next morning. The plastic turns into the plastic pellets, which keeps you from having to buy them, even though they're only 10¢ each, my perusal of the beaches that first night gave me enough plastic to probably make it through the whole game. And the metal scraps turn into iron, so it puts you way ahead on the iron needs for that first axe and stuff. The mushrooms and berries respawn about once a week, so I will just take a day once a week to make another quick run, not as thorough as the first night because that took a really long time lol. But the berries and mushrooms and chestnuts and ferns and seaweed are a good money maker to help carry you through. I love this game but I'm stuck at the battle. I don't understand the whole card thing and the system to do battle. So I'm going back to finish your video now to see if there's anything in there on the battle. I just wanted to post this comment to help anyone else who may be interested. Also watch your clock! Every once in awhile it will freeze up again late at night like 9-11 pm'ish. If it freezes, take advantage and do another forage run! I've not had to struggle for anything getting started! ETA: I should have watched the whole video before commenting lol. You covered the beach aspect later on. And you covered combat! I love the way you present your video and information! How have I not ran across your channel before?? I'm still iffy on combat. I've never played any turn-based or card type combat systems! It was almost enough for me to not buy this game after waiting on it for almost 3 years! But I decided to go ahead and take a chance. If you were to do a more in depth video on the combat I feel I could really grasp it from your instruction. I hate no commentary videos, and I don't care for Livestream unless I'm using it to fall asleep 😂. But I'm forever changing games and looking for new KZread content creators to get info from. A lot of the young people talk way to fast for me and I can't keep up. So finding people I enjoy listening to and learning from has been a battle in itself! But after watching just this one video I've decided to subscribe! Thank you for this!!

I have yet to find one as well. The devs have confirmed they're in the game though. My guess is that they could be either locked behind cave progression or they could potentially be found in the caches. I'm almost done with the second level, if I can find a dorei I'll update with another comment and put out a more detailed video on combat.

During fall season NPCs give candy for talking to them, the candy wrappers you get from consuming the candy are used as currency to buy items. You can get the bat from the vendor who appears running around town with the cart.

The new pieces were in the Valentines update, 1.5.5, which I believe is available on the Switch. The quest for them can be obtained on or after Fall 1, Year 1 from Frank. The quest chain starts with "Building For Days".

As far as I am aware trees to not grow back, but if you need additional wood planks they can be purchased from the hardware store.

I have a game rec for you. It's out and about. Out and about is an upcoming foraging game, where you learn to identify plants and what you can make out of them such as herbal remedies, cooking dishes and carfts. They show you how to recreate them in real life! Expanding your gardening knowledge like teaching you companion planting, fishing, decorating, socializing and romancing is also a thing. Currently they are running their kickstarter campaign.

@@MissMaserati the type of content that would be very useful for me, and I believe for many people, would be short videos, no more than 5 or 6 minutes, explaining different things about the game, such as: - How to start farming, explaining how to use different tools and machinery, fertilizers, watering and finishing with harvesting and storage. - How to raise the different animals, from purchasing to selling the different products, including how and when to use machines and tools, how to feed, etc. (to avoid being a long video, maybe one for each type of animal). - How to process the different products produced on the farm, such as how to make cheese and others, which machines to use, etc. Basically, there would be guide videos, focused on the different aspects of the game, maintaining the objectivity of this video. And put these videos together in a playlist. From the point of view of those looking for this type of content, it would allow them to easily and quickly find videos on the subjects they need. I'm giving this idea because today I was looking for a video that explained the difference between a cheap table saw and a luxury table saw and I couldn't find it. And maybe this would even give you a new purpose in the game and motivate you to keep playing and having fun! I hope you don't take it wrong that I gave this opinion. That's unfortunately a design choice by the devs and while I don't know exactly how to change the script for there to be a current in creative, it is possible to copy anything you made in creative to a story mode save with a flowing current. If you're open to using a mod for the game, it's called "Raft Blueprint" and uses a simple command prompt to save something you've built. Another command will copy it instantly to wherever you're standing. It can be found here along with the launcher to install mods: www.raftmodding.com/mods/raft-blueprint

Item shifter is what I used to place everything. You can also add animals without a habitat by using the "animal dispay". It looks like a stone paw print, but it can hold one animal.

No need to start a new game, the mods will work on an existing save as soon as they're loaded through the steam workshop box on your opening menu screen. When active they'll be working on all saves until they're uninstalled.
