Welcome to Follow The Builds. This all started when I was 16 and got my first Mustang. It was quadruple tone color and barely running. My dad said if you want to drive this then fix it. I dug into the Mustang magazines and started building my dream ride.
After over a dozen builds it has become a passion of mine to find and put these ole Mustangs back on the streets and upgraded with a few creature comforts and subtle mods.
If you are in the learning phase of restoconversion then you are in the right place. There will be plenty of amature problems to solve, as well as some “would you look at this” moments. Also, plenty of fun moments as these Mustangs hit the streets. If you wanna build it, you can. Please like and subscribe.

I know what it take`s and you guys kicked ass GOOD JOB , and good video..
I know I’m late to the party here, but, a huge THANK YOU!! for this video! I’m ready to do the glass on my ‘66 coupe, and I’m going to use the tips here to help me. 👍
why the music
"like a Porsche" and shows a McLaren. @1:27
11 months and no updates???
Everything about this video was great. From the story of how the car came into their lives to the father/ son project to showing a couple guys who haven't done this the ropes. It seems like everyone has fun and that's how it should be. Very cool
Been dailying my 68 mustang 200ci for over 8 years now. Take care of it and it’ll take care of you. Been nothing but smiles the whole time so far :)
I used to have a 68 coupe sure wish I had never sold it. I wish I had the money to buy one now.
This is simply wild.
U just gave me an idea bro 🤔🤣
Genius gang beautiful job.
Is there any chance of an update on this car? Would love to see how it's progressed since 11 months ago.
Nice music, what's the name.
....chuck is the verge....congrat for that fastb job...
What spindles are you using?
Could you tell me what brand drop spindles you used?
You are awesome guys!
The music is horrendous and way to loud. Makes the video unbearable to watch unless you mute the video and put on subtitles. The entire video would of been much better simply without the music.
As a 1st Gen Camaro guy, I find it strange that Ford didn't do all mustangs as fastbacks, like Camaros only had a one coupe body.
Maybe that's why they sold millions more Mustangs than Camaro's.
This was incredible to watch, answers a lot of questions but presents even more. Hard part for me would be the cutting up and not F%^&king up.
Great conversions! Taking zero and making a hero!
Nice project! Your music needs replacement.
Awesome work in just a weekend. Did you guys rust treat the rails, trunk and other bits before al the new bits went on ?
Do people actually whine about cutting up Mustang coups? You can literally build a completely new one from parts/repro parts. Not to mention how many were made. Some people just have to complain to make them feel special I guess. Nice work.
Please back up from the car and show us the entire side of the car view for heaven's sakes kzread.info/dash/bejne/emxhrqOOoaitiKg.html
Don't show the people's faces talking we don't care about their bases show the car show the side of the car you show the back of the car for the whole entire video show it from the side dam. kzread.info/dash/bejne/emxhrqOOoaitiKg.html
I daily drive a survivor 1967 mustang convertible, and I'd love to have a 6 to 8 coupe to fastback conversion some day
Pretty cheap to buy a new body and makes things easier and even easier if you choose Coyote Clecos would make things much easier
How about just get to the point.
How much do you guys charge for the conversion if i find a coup , thank you
What’s the price on labor?
I’m doing one right now ❤
Where’d you get the new motor from?
Is the idle changing when you hit the brakes? Since I was going boosted trying to see if I could run electric booster to not depending on intake manifold vacuum. Where is the link for your harness? Any link for the pedal return spring?
What rear backspace on the wheels ?
amazing teamwork well done stay save the best from holland
How about return to center? Is there a power on delay before EPS kicks in? What was the squeaking when you were turning? was that the car or the column?
Great work.
You don’t want to come to Maryland and help my father and I do ours, do you? Lol great video, looks like it turned out awesome
So what about the parking brake? Was it enough to hold the car on a hill?
I Don't Think That A 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback, Had A Rear Deck Spoiler Built Into It Like That 🤔?, Correct Me If I'm Wrong 🤔 ! , But If You Were To Look At The 1968 Ford Mustang GT, From The Movie Bullitt, The Movie Car Has No Rear Deck Spoiler 🤔?
It’s a Shelby deck lid
I’ve fished on Chucks boat quite a few times.
y’all need to learn that a vehicle identification number. There is no number vehicle identification number number. I couldn’t even watch your video to the end due to your bad grammar.

Very, very cool!!
So you guy's got all the conversion metal for 4 grand, not including the loor , ?
WHY DIDN'T YOU START WITH A CONVERTIBLE
Better balance on the volume next time. Faint, hard to hear then suddenly blasting loud!!! NO BUENO. Otherwise, congrats on a great job. Car looks good.
Keep doing your thing you chose this rout goid job
