Did he really explain the joke? This definitely isn't even one of the top 10 funniest bits let alone lines. Monty Python is EXTREMELY overrated and usually championed by not very funny but highly energetic ppl.

The colombian version should've made a local adaptation of a man who progressively makes cold calculated evil decisions. They didn't need to try and repeat the script by just translating and coping

His shoulders relax too, in that scene with Woody Harold, and that really compliments the facial expression.

The moment with ian at the end, he said if he had known he would be by himslef on set so much he wouldnt have returned, if i were on the crew i would have suggested putting some stand ins weather it be in costume, or in something that can be edited out, just so that he wasn't on his own, and can work off of, not just a square with a dot for eye line

Rowan Atkinson was asked by Graham Norton if he ever made himself laugh, he said never on film but on stage is where it usually happened. He described doing comedy on stage as being like trying to push a ball up a hill, they're trying to get it as high as they can but there comes a point where it can tip over the other side and it runs away from the performer, where they are no longer in control of the performance. I thought it was a great explanation of how live performance and improvisation can create unexpected moments, even with material we've seen numerous times before.

I don't think you can narrow down all cinema into the funniest line in history. But this is definitely not the funniest line and it isn't even close to the best Monty Python lines. It's pretty juvenile. One of my favourite lines is from Young Frankenstein: both delivered by Cloris Leachman: "He was my boyfriend!" "Would like some warm milk? Some Ovaltine?"

This is amazing, I don't realise how great of an actor this man was. I'm a fan after just realising this was not CGI as I had imagined. This is ltterally awesome. The definition of awesome not in the sense of the overused word but in a sense of actual awe inspiring. Amazing, this guy is on another level.
