  i'm so so so glad i found this video. i have most endometriosis symptoms, and i'm going to a specialist in another state soon. i've been really scared about feeling like i'm 'faking it' or that they won't find anything if they do surgery. i'm currently on birth control after yeeeears of awful periods (im so sorry birth control doesn't work for you!! the symptoms can get crazy).

  I’m actually quite huge on loving the fashion „faux pas” - socks with sandals, especially when they’re heeled and so on… plus I’ve recently have bought a leather bag that is black and navy by design and they also have a black and brown version

  I was also really influenced by Laini Ozark on this. I remember reading that Marie Kondo (whose technique was absolutely “trending” a few years ago) said that her process was only supposed to be done once in life for people who were not mindful before that. I think that was never understood, and the satisfying feeling of seeing a shrinking closet just kept people (including myself) in a cycle of consumerism. I wholeheartedly stand by this change. Regarding creators, I’m a fan of the people you mentioned, and I love Hannah Louise Poston. Her style is quite different, and her videos (not just fashion, but I especially love her fashion videos) are thoughtful and interesting.

  I can attest to the storage vs discard method. Literally right now I'm feeling nostalgic for Y2K and am wishing I'd kept some of the things I bought 10 years ago. To be fair to be, those clothes really didn't fit the color palette I had for the last 5 years or so, so I can see how I thought I'd never want them again. But also...my Hollister skirts 😢. I should also mention that it's a pretty well-known fact that clothing quality is getting worse, and I see no evidence that this trend will reverse itself. Chances are, the clothes you buy now will be better than what you'll be able to easily get in another 10 years.

  A psychologist I trust did a video about how your life in general improved when you get happy first, not the other way around. So, checks out. I do also think there's this interesting thing where you wear something and have an amazing time, so you associate happiness with that piece, and wearing it again can bring back that feeling and give you a boost.
