  Charley toured Scandinavia in 1972, and I saw him then. The show was recorded by our national radio station and broadcast some time later, and I recorded it on my open reel tape recorder. He had a show in Gothenburg, Sweden, and after the show they went out for a meal. The restaurant had a band, and when Charley and the Pridesmen were asked to play a song they did - for the rest of the night out of sheer love of music. Great guys.

  June 2024 listening to true county music...Oh how I remember my previous husband's arms holding me as we swayed to that song. It was just released . we were always blessed with a special deep love. He could make me feel like a princess because he could really dance.....I lost my previous husband of 46 yrs. last month, May 10th---2 days before our anniversary. What I wouldn't give to be in his arms again. 🥰❤
