Welcome to a channel dedicated to trains, subways, and trams around the world.
My name is Julian and I have made this channel to document all rail public transport I encounter while travelling. You will see many all-liners and compilations from places around mainly Europe and North America.
I upload once every 2 weeks :)

You forgot the green line. That one is the most important because it was the first line out of the 4 and it is the first subway in the western hemisphere.Even though it is a light rail, you should count it because it’s the oldest and is still a subway even though it is at grade in some of its branches.
I fully agree with you, the green line is definitely the most important but in being the longest of the 4 T lines and also being light rail I decided it needed its own video which will be out soon.
You miss one train that in Nassau line is literally the Z train
The Z is an express line which I unfortunately didn’t get to include in the video. If I remake it in the future I’ll be sure to include all express services on the map.
OK
There are 26 mat trains 1 group:Irt 1group:ind and 1 more group: bmt
Your map shows a junction station between Linea 1 and Linea 2, but, incredibly, there is no such station. Riders wishing to transfer between the two lines must walk 600 meters.
It’s set to be constructed at some point. The map I used comes from the Lima metro line 2 website. It is unfortunate though how It doesn’t exist yet on even line 1.
@@Transport_International I'd really like to see a plan for that. If such a station is built, it'll likely require the closure of Gamarra station because it and the new station would be too close together. A poor country like Peru can't afford screwups like that. A rich country like mine can't, either.
9:23 the announcement is insane!
😂😂 it was so funny. The train would leave and come in and you could hear the guy making the announcements in this voice even outside the train
3 new lines and 3 new extensions to it's subway, can't wait 💯💪
W Toronto
I got here because of Planet Moose's video on Lima's woes with their public transit. Glad to see that Lima is getting their public transport infrastructures back on track. Need less people riding cars for commutes (traffic congestions into/out of the city), but allow for more social mobility across the board.
Definitely. Lima’s only setback is the time it takes to get things built unfortunately
FINALLY, I'VE BEEN WANTING THIS!
I love the enthusiasm
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I love it bro
Me too
Line M has the same VVVF as Alstom Metropolis of Warsaw.
my main problem with Toronto’s subway is that shutdowns are so frequent and the lines are built around 2 streets. Busses are pretty slow and overcrowded. Tbh I prefer to drive even living in downtown
Yeah that’s very true. Toronto desperately needs more subway and some sort of revamp on the worst areas of line 1 and 2 to stop having weekend closures.
THIS IS A SOUTH FERRY BOUND 1 TRAIN THE NEXT STOP IS 125 ST
World trade
Hey im World Trade center
We'll all be dead before crosstown opens, shit metrolinx.
😭😭
It's very good, the subway system of Toronto is the largest than Vancouver and Montreal.
Very informative and interesting. Good stuff mate
Thanks!
The expansion is about 40 years late
Very much so
@@Transport_Internationalat least it here now lol
77 KM track third biggest metro system in a continent speaks volumes on how less public transportation infra is considered
I think he meant 3rd most used. Many systems in the US are longer than 77km
informative video, thanks
Try the metro in Montréal. Wow!
I'm from Mexico, and I sincerely say that Mexico City Subway is beautiful, but full and plenty of problems: Trains can delay more than an hour if there's heavy rain and the alternatives of rideship aren't too efficient to carry out all people. Lived in Xochimilco nearly 3 years and common habitual of Mexico City before 2022 and I say that our subway is not what you can expect. I don't recommend it. Mexico City could be cosmopolitan, but is not Tokyo or Shanghai, is another subdeveloped Latino Nation more.
When you filmed the Piccadilly Line in the beginning of this chapter, you filmed at my local station which was Park Royal and I live just a minute away from that Station. Nice one Mate.
I love the station building
@@Transport_International It was built by Welch & Lander who were influenced and inspired by Charles Holden who designed and built other Stations on the London Underground and this Station built by Welch & Lander in 1931 were inspired by him. The Station itself is a Grade II listed building and sits next to the A40 Main Road into Central London.
Good video :)
Thanks!
Ding ding!!!
I would use them if they were there. I want to make ones you can say, or at least as train offshoots.
At 7:31 a TR train has been retrofitted with LED headlights.
Yeah they’ve started to do that with both T1s and TRs
What station is at 0:47?
Plaça Catalunya
😎
Nice video alex
The same trains will enter in service next year, thus keeping the tradition of using the same trains in Rome and Lima.
roses are red, violets are blue there's trains and trams in my playlist two there ya go, that somehow rhymed :))
such a wonderful poem
@@cptnsniper1136 thank you :))))
Frankly, what's the point of the blue light flashing at the bottom of the train as if it were a discotheque? A fixation with technology, probably.
They use it at busy stations as a way to warn passengers of a moving train
@@Transport_International Humans have been given eyes and ears by Mother Nature to warn them of many surrounding things, such as moving trains. This infantile fixation with technology is really getting out of control.
Massive W for Toronto not tearing down their tram network in the mid 20th century
It is so incredibile, I love this new type of short and I love The hi story Of Toronto’s tram
Thanks bro ❤
