National Rail is the branding put on every non-municipal railway in the UK. It is made up of many private companies which run rail services all over the country. It exists mainly for branding purposes and to serve as a symbol for British railways. You can see the logo at any rail station in the UK and Networks like the Elizabeth line and the Overground in London are also part of National Rail. It also makes for a universal ticket which will always be under the National Rail design however can vary depending on the service and price that the Railway charges. This video covers services mainly around London and in the near north. Most services are electric which make for a more comfortable ride and the network is quite reliable with a variety of frequencies and rolling stock. Enjoy the video :)
