My name is David Barker ,born in Wigan UK.
Started learning guitar in 2016, I play from tabs to learn the song first
then, play it from memory.
I've always been a fan of The Shadows and Hank Marvin's exceptional guitar skills.
I prefer to play lead guitar ,than acoustic guitar ,because I must admit I'm hopeless at chords,
I will have to spend more time at that I suppose.

I didn't want to spend a fortune just starting out, I bought a Strat copy,
fitted with Wilkinson's pickups,
a Korg Toneworks AX3000G ,two Line 6 ,15watt Spider Amps
set to a clean channels
ZoomG3X EFTP.
Panasonic TM900 AVCHD ,Dolby stereo camcorder.
Ext Sony condenser mic EMC-MS907.
Lexato Wireless system WS-50.
My backing tracks are on a fire tablet, or Ipod , connected to the amps earphone jacks.
My guitars are a Maroon DM Instruments , a Benson blueburst ,my latest is a Harley Benton ST-59 HM tribute
in fiesta red .
I setup my own guitars, I use gauge 10s strings.

Great cover. You have a lot of great guitars over there on your wall. May I please ask you something? Do you own any Fender Stratocaster electric guitars? What I mean is the original Fender brand and so on. Otherwise, beautiful video with a beautiful sound coming from that Harley Benton Strat style electric guitar.
Hi John ,thank you for your nice comment, so pleased you enjoyed Wonderful Land a great one to play , as regards to your question ,no I don't have any Fender guitars cant afford them LOL,. The Maroon Strat is made by DM Instruments bought from a dealer on Ebay, the blue Benson got given to me, it needed a lot of work on it, the Harley Benton was from Thomann in German I heard good reports on them and was a good price , I just changed the pickups for Toneriders pure vintage . The classical on the wall I made many years ago, started as a night school project , then finished some years later. That's about it really, I only started learning in 2016, and still learning LOL , its just a hobby in retirement for me 😊😊🎸🎸🎵🎵👍All the best Dave.
@@Davegtar16: That's awesome to hear. As you probably saw my videos, I own a lot of Fender Squier Stratocasters and many others. I even own a 2010 Fender American Special Stratocaster as it is one of my prized possessions. Sadly, I have slowly began downsizing my guitar collection by selling them online because I own lots of guitars that I don't even play anymore but there are some guitars that I still play in which I plan to keep. Otherwise, that's about it. Great video. All the best to you and cheers.

Yes can cause havoc these leaks, my place is council rented, there's no plumbing in the attic now ,with the combi boilers fitted, which is a good thing especially in winter. Hi Francisco , many thanks for watching my cover of Wonderful Land, I use a Zoom G3x all the information is in the description under the video, its just a basic set up really, running two Line 6 Spider combo amps set clean to the L/R outputs on the Zoom ,giving you stereo sound . Hi Phil, thank you very much for a great comment, yes was happy with the end result ,only a about 3 takes.😊. When I bought the Zoom G3x off Ebay it had EFTP patches on, but I think the owner had been messing about altering some they didn't sound right. So instead of forking out £80 on a new set, I downloaded these in the description link for free, I don't know who as uploaded them but there pretty good , all named and in alphabetical order, Wonderful Land patch is very good.
