Good afternoon Phil, thank you very much for your kind words of support, and the great arrangement and tabs. Glad you enjoyed it, I certainly enjoyed learning it, a big favourite of mine, I did slightly play it different at 2.11 to 2.20 instead of going right up to the 1st fret on the DStops. But everything else was the same as the tab, once I got up the speed I sailed through it, without looking at the tabs. I was chuffed to bits , the fifth take this one. Hi Anthon , its a great classic Downtown 1964 , I was only 6yrs old then ,but I Love all the 60s stuff, and they make good guitar instrumentals just like this one. Not a easy one to play, it uses all the fretboard, so pleased you enjoyed it, I really enjoyed playing it, that's what its all about,. Thanks for your kind words of support, always appreciated . Good afternoon Alan, yes its a good fretboard workout this one, Its a while since Phil did this arrangement and tabs, and I thought I'm going to have a go at that one, one day lol. Been on my list for ages, I knew it would be a challenge because of the amount of work he put into it. But I was surprised, I soon picked it up , and I know the words to the song pretty well, that helps too. So was happy with this take, glad you enjoyed it, its one I will keep playing ,are you forget them .lol. Hi Jon no worries, takes me all my time to keep up 😊 I cant really take credit for the arrangement ,that was down to Phil. When I heard him play it, I loved it , but I wasn't good enough at the time to take it on ,until now . Check his version out its excellent. Its a quick one and plenty DS notes, the long slide from 3rd to 13th as to be spot on .or its another take 😊 I was happy with the outcome of this 5th live take, glad you liked it, she was good Petula loved all her songs.
