Hi Phil, yes I know what you mean with the lyrics ,its always puzzled me too, but its a very likeable song, and works well as a instrumental. I soon got into it, and was pleased with the outcome , only about 6 takes, and thanks for your super arrangement and tabs, so pleased you liked my take on it, wasn't bad for a cheap Benson guitar 🎸😊 Been a sunny day here in Wigan, been doing some gardening, nice to have a break from all this rain ,,and get some fresh air lol. Brilliant play Dave (though I've never heard of this song before,) the melody seems to be a bit strange! of course it's new to me, but you play it perfectly and it just flows, and with such clear tones! you seem to have some serious sound equipment there, (just reading through your list), it's great! Hi Jon , yes it was a big hit for The Killers in 2008, probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I love it , I watched Phil McGarrick's version and arrangement and had to give a go, it was also a favourite of a friend of mine who sadly passed away a few year ago ,he went in our local British Legion he was a fantastic snooker player, but if any artist was on stage and sang this one, and quite a few did, he would stop the game, and sing along he loved it. lol.
