Wie kann man nur mit solchen Mistschlappen im Gelände fahren und dann auch offensichtlich noch voll aufgepumpt... Der Mog ist vermutlich als Bierkutsche für den Transport von Bierfässern von Brauerei zur Wirtschaft konfiguriert. Dazu passt der Fahrer mit seinen professionellen Fahrfertigkeiten als Bierkutscher! Erstaunlich was so ein Mog trotz aller Behinderungen noch leisten kann.

Does the Canter in Australia also have that sign on the door that says you shouldnt really take this truck off-road? (This applies to an unmodified vehicle of course.) I'm wondering wether australian and european versions differ in robustness...?

The unimog is setup like a delivery truck its riding on road tires, as for the fuso is on full mud tires , is it just me or is the 2 rear tires seem to look different, one looks wider than the other? On the unimog If not , it's still a horrible comparison, I have a 68 military spec unimog I'll eat that fuso for breakfast, seriously I would just push it over . I know because I tipped one over already about 5 years ago going through a river , I stopped to help a dude in his jeep and the fuso tried to bump my truck to get passed , but he got caught on the bottom of my bodywork ,don't ask me how ? But he was just slipping no traction, so I hopped in my truck threw it into second gear, cranked my wheel towards his truck with absolutely zero effort I pushed my self away as his truck was tipping I just kept going because I also had the jeep roped up to top it off, well the dudes truck ended up on it's side . I wouldn't have had a problem helping him but he was a jackass that couldn't stop running his mouth. So I left his toy truck like it was . Oh by the end of the weekend coming back his truck was still in the same spot maybe a few feet down river . But yeah that saying there's nothing on this planet that can go against the mighty unimog 💪

As painful as it is to watch good equipment being trashed with a number of things broken , this shows the Mitsubishi canter is a very capable 4x4 making it through sections that would leave a 79 behind ,

The mogs biggest problem is its weight ....they are bullitproof build but if they have a steep climb their weight becomes a huge problem...even in crawling gear with all lockers on.

No such comparison means Jack diddly unless both vehicles are equipped with identical tires at identical pressures. These vehicles are not. Therefore the video is essentially meaningless, other than to show that the Mog kicks ass despite a ridiculous handicap. Do better next time guys! Don’t waste our time!

This is epic expedition for a Canter. Amazing footage, driving, guiding, and of course the rig. Now I understand why most Aussie Canter builds choose the spartan sleeping/cooking/shitting all done on the outside design. Thanks for taking time and effort to produce this amazing video. I see all these vehicles on a regular basis, I think they come from the north down the Tonkin to Albany hwy then shoot up Armadale rd to freeway south.

we unite at absolute disadvantage Worn tires and excessive compression, poor handling, no cargo in box, narrow tires not suitable for 4x4.

bloody awesome vid mate, did you make the rear box springs to allow chassis flex or were they bought? I've looked at the AAV unit with the fuel tanks built in but shit its expensive.

Hi mate, yeah I built that myself, very similar to the aav, however they use steel angle and I used rhs so in my opinion way better option to keep the canopy straight and let the springs do the flexing. If you understand the concept it's not hard to do it only takes a bit of welding

Der Vergleich war nicht realistisch.
ウニモグ、タイヤで損してる。 走破性より、商用車らしく、経済性寄りのタイヤ。 キャンターの方が、ギア比がローなのかな? ウニモグは空荷だとバネが硬く、意外にも足が伸びないね。 ウニモグにも、色んな仕様が有りそう。
